When purchasing a running manual hoist, it is necessary to strictly control the four core dimensions of structural integrity, operational safety, maintenance convenience, and compliance. The specific requirements are as follows:

1、 Structural integrity requirements

Key component materials

Gears and sprockets: Priority should be given to models with tooth thickness wear not exceeding 10% of nominal size, no broken teeth or cracks, and sprocket groove size wear should be controlled within 10% of nominal size.

Shaft and bearings: The increase in clearance between the shaft and bearings shall not exceed 15% of the nominal size to ensure transmission stability.

Ratchet and pawl: anti-corrosion treatment is required, the spring elasticity is good, and the pawl and pawl are tightly engaged without looseness.

Lifting chain: 800Mpa high-strength chain is used, with no wrong buttons or twists in the chain links, and the heat treatment process needs to meet the anti-corrosion standards.

Hook: Choose a forged hook with no cracks, sharp angles, or burrs, and the deformation of the opening should not exceed 5% of the nominal size.

Reliability of braking system

The wear of the brake friction plate should be controlled within 25% of the nominal size, and there should be no sliding phenomenon after the ratchet and brake seat are pressed together.

During the no-load test, there should be a noticeable clicking sound when ascending, and the braking distance when descending should not exceed 5% of the total length of the chain.

2、 Operational safety requirements

Overloading is strictly prohibited, and the rated lifting capacity must be clearly marked and equipped with overload protection devices (such as automatic shutdown function).

When working together with double gourds, it must be commanded by a dedicated person, the load must be evenly distributed, and the synchronization rate of the operator's actions must be above 90%.

Operating Specifications

Before lifting, a trial lift is required to confirm that the heavy object is 100mm off the ground, and then check the operation and braking performance.

Personnel are not allowed to stand directly under heavy objects during operation, and it is prohibited to stay within 5 meters below the heavy objects.

It is prohibited to pull or throw the hoist diagonally. The hook should be located on the vertical line of the center of gravity of the heavy object, and the inclination angle should not exceed 3 °.

Equipped with an emergency braking device that can lock the chain within 0.5 seconds.

When the suspended object stays for a long time, the hand zipper should be tied to the lifting chain and a safety rope should be added.

3、 Maintenance convenience requirements

Before daily use, check the lubrication of the chain, the wear of the hook, and the cleanliness of the brake (without oil stains).

Conduct monthly no-load testing to confirm that each mechanism operates flexibly without any jamming or abnormal noise.

Replacement of vulnerable parts

The replaced parts must be completely matched with the original design, such as using the same specifications and materials for the chain.

Key components such as brake friction pads and gears need to be replaced regularly, and the replacement cycle is determined based on the frequency of use (generally not exceeding 1 year).

Storage conditions

After use, wipe off any dirt and store in a dry and ventilated place to avoid rusting of the chain in a damp environment.

When stored for a long time, it is necessary to perform regular (every 3 months) no-load operation to prevent component adhesion.

4、 Compliance requirements

International safety certifications such as CE, ISO, or ANSI/ASME are required to ensure that the design and manufacturing comply with industry standards.

Domestic products need to have a production license, and the nameplate should clearly indicate the specifications, manufacturing date, and manufacturer information.

Inspection Report

Before leaving the factory, a static load test of 1.25 times the rated load must be conducted, with a holding time of no less than 10 minutes.

Regularly (once a year), third-party organizations conduct inspections and issue qualified reports.

Operation qualification

Operators need to hold relevant operating certificates and undergo professional training to be familiar with the working principles and operating methods of gourds.

Wear safety shoes, gloves, helmets, and other protective equipment during operation. Do not operate under the influence of alcohol or fatigue.
