In response to the noise problem that occurs when the European style wire rope electric hoist operates on the outer frame, a systematic investigation and repair should be carried out based on common fault points. The specific solution is as follows:

1、 Troubleshooting and repair of motor system

Inability to start or run

Power supply issue: Check if the power supply voltage is stable (within ± 10% of the rated voltage range) and if the three-phase power is balanced. If the voltage is abnormal, adjust the power supply or repair the circuit.

Internal fault of motor: Test the insulation resistance of the motor. If the winding is short circuited, replace the motor; Check if the bearings are damaged and replace them if necessary.

Brake issue: Adjust the brake clearance to the standard value (usually 0.3-0.5mm) to ensure complete separation of the brake pads and avoid additional friction noise.

Motor overheating or abnormal noise

Loose stator silicon steel sheets: If the motor makes a buzzing sound, it may be due to the stator silicon steel sheets not being tightly pressed, and the stator needs to be replaced.

Brake wheel deflection: Check the end jump value of the brake wheel, repair or replace the brake wheel to eliminate vibration noise.

Dynamic balance difference: Repair the motor's dynamic balance and reduce vibration during high-speed operation.

2、 Inspection and maintenance of steel wire rope system

Wear or fracture

Regular inspection: Check the wire rope for breakage and deformation according to standards (such as GB/T5972). If the number of broken wires within a twist exceeds 10% of the total or radial wear reaches 40%, it needs to be replaced immediately.

Lubrication and Cleaning: Regularly apply specialized steel wire rope grease to reduce friction noise; Clean the dirt on the surface of the steel wire rope to avoid skewed operation.

Installation adjustment: Ensure that the steel wire rope is aligned on the pulley/drum to avoid abnormal wear caused by excessive deflection angle.

Overloading and operating standards

Overloading is strictly prohibited: Verify the weight of the load to ensure it does not exceed the rated load and prevent wire rope breakage or structural deformation.

Standardized operation: Avoid frequent start stop, emergency stop, or inclined pulling and lifting to reduce damage to the steel wire rope caused by impact loads.

3、 Debugging and replacement of braking system

Brake failure (heavy object sliding down)

Brake pad wear: Check the thickness of the brake pads, and replace them if the wear exceeds 50%.

Spring failure: Adjust or replace the brake spring to ensure stable brake pressure.

Oil pollution: Clean the surface of the brake wheel, remove oil or impurities, and restore friction.

4、 Maintenance of control and limit system

Control button malfunction

Line inspection: Use a multimeter to check the continuity of the control line, repair the broken point or replace the damaged cable.

Button contact oxidation: Clean or replace the control button to ensure good contact between the contacts.

Limit device malfunction: Check if the upper and lower limit switches are reset or damaged, adjust or replace the limit device.

Frequent triggering of overload protection

Load verification: Confirm that the actual load does not exceed the rated value to avoid accidental triggering.

Parameter calibration: Re calibrate the parameters of the overload protector to ensure that the sensitivity meets the requirements.

Sensor inspection: Check the stability of sensor signals and eliminate interference sources.

5、 Maintenance of structural components and transmission systems

The drum or pulley is stuck

Bearing damage: Replace the stuck bearing and restore rotational flexibility.

Wire rope jumping: Adjust the position of the rope guide to ensure that the wire rope is wound in an orderly manner.

Insufficient lubrication: Regularly add lubricating grease to reduce noise caused by component rust.

Loose structural components

Bolt tightening: Check and tighten all structural bolts to prevent noise caused by vibration.

Rack deformation: Correct the deformed rack and restore the geometric accuracy of the equipment.

6、 Special treatment for gearbox

Abnormal gear transmission

Lubrication supplement: Add sufficient lubricating oil to improve gear meshing conditions.

Tooth surface repair: repair the scratches and dents on the tooth surface to improve the accuracy of gear machining and assembly.

Component replacement: If the gears or bearings are severely worn, they should be replaced in a timely manner.

Box fragmentation or oil leakage

Box replacement: If the gearbox box is broken, a new box needs to be replaced and the limiter adjusted.
