1、 Core characteristics of electric winch

Compact structure and strong adaptability

The electric winch (hoist) adopts a fully enclosed planetary gearbox design, which can resist environmental pollutants such as dust and moisture, and extend the service life of the equipment.

Prefabricated steel frame structures are easy to transport and install, suitable for scenarios such as factories, docks, power stations, and logging sites. They can handle heavy objects vertically, horizontally, or diagonally.

Efficient transmission and speed regulation performance

The electric energy is converted into mechanical energy by an electric motor, and the speed is reduced by a reducer to drive the reel to wrap the steel wire rope.

Supporting variable frequency speed regulation, it can achieve stepless speed change, meeting the needs of low-speed heavy load or high-speed light load, with smooth speed regulation and simple control program.

Safety and durability design

Safety factor: The design factor reaches 5:1 to ensure safe working load.

Braking system: Equipped with an automatic disc motor brake, the load can be reduced by manual braking in case of power failure to prevent accidental slipping.

Durability: The fully enclosed gearbox and prefabricated steel frame provide a long lifespan, and the integrated lifting ears facilitate transportation.

Customization and flexibility

Models can be customized according to power supply voltages (such as 110V, 240V, 380V, 660V, etc.) to meet different scene requirements.

2、 Operating Procedures for Electric Winch

Pre operation inspection

Mechanical components: Check whether the connecting parts and locking parts (such as bolts and pins) are loose, and whether the anchor bolts and bearing seats are firmly fixed.

Braking device: Test whether the brake operating mechanism and transmission rod are sensitive, and the gap between the brake wheel and the brake shoe must comply with regulations (the handle stroke should not exceed 3/4 of the full stroke when applying the brake).

Lubrication system: Confirm that the lubrication oil level is normal (if the oil level of the gear reducer needs to be higher than the oil level elevation line), use 55-7 oil for lubrication, and replace it every 2-3 months.

Electrical system: Check the instrument indicators, signal devices (sound and light signals must be unobstructed), and motor insulation resistance to ensure there is no risk of leakage or short circuit.

Startup and operation specifications

Start sequence:

Loosen the brake band on the drum and tighten the brake band on the large internal gear;

Start the electric motor, wait for the transmission gear to run, gradually release the brake band of the large internal gear and press the brake band of the drum, so that the drum rotates and wraps around the steel wire rope.

Speed control: Adjust the motor speed through a frequency converter or controller to avoid sudden driving/stopping and reduce brake band wear.

Load management: It is strictly prohibited to operate beyond the rated load, and the dynamic load test shall not exceed 10% of the rated load.

Parking and maintenance requirements

Normal parking:

Gradually tighten the brake and release the clutch brake to slow down the winch;

After hearing the parking signal, fully apply the brake, release the clutch brake, and cut off the power.

Long term disuse: Turn off the power, lock the drum, regularly inspect and maintain the transmission components (such as adding lubricating oil and cleaning the steel wire rope).

Daily maintenance:

Clean up equipment dirt daily, and do not accumulate dust on the motor;

Check the gearbox, brake, and motor every six months, and test the insulation resistance of the motor;

Regularly replace lubricating oil (such as changing gear oil every 2-3 months, and adding oil to other lubricating components 2-4 times per shift).

Safety precautions

Operation taboos:

It is prohibited to release the brake and lower heavy objects when the motor is not powered on;

Do not operate two brake bands simultaneously (to prevent motor burnout);

Overtemperature operation is prohibited (the temperature of the drum brake belt and bearings shall not exceed 70 ℃).

Emergency Management:

Immediately stop and inspect if any abnormal noise, odor, or vibration is detected;

In emergency situations, the safety brake can be used, but a comprehensive inspection of the equipment is required afterwards.
