For the preventive measures of European steel wire rope electric hoists at different stages of use, targeted measures can be taken from four stages: installation and commissioning, daily operation, regular maintenance, and fault handling. The specific measures are as follows:
1、 Installation and debugging phase
Professional installation and acceptance
Installation must be carried out by a professional team in accordance with the original factory regulations. After installation, no-load and load tests must be conducted to ensure that the verticality deviation does not exceed 3/1000, and that all mechanisms operate smoothly. Safety devices such as brakes and limiters are sensitive and reliable.
Install limiters (such as hook height limiters, travel limiters) and torque limiters to prevent overloading or collision accidents.
Environmental adaptability inspection
When working in special environments (such as near medium wave radio broadcasting antennas), operators should wear insulated rubber shoes and gloves to prevent electric shock.
Check the stability of the power supply voltage (380V ± 20V) to avoid equipment damage caused by voltage fluctuations.
2、 Daily operation stage
Operating Specifications
Certified on duty: Operators must undergo professional training and obtain qualification certificates, and be familiar with equipment performance and operating procedures.
Load limit: Overloading is strictly prohibited, and estimation or weighing must be carried out before lifting objects of unknown weight.
Smooth operation: Avoid sudden start and stop. When changing the direction of operation, reset the controller to zero and reverse the operation after the motor stops.
Prevent diagonal pulling: Ensure that the hook is lifted vertically to avoid wire rope derailment or breakage caused by diagonal pulling and lifting.
real-time monitoring
During the operation, observe the status of the steel wire rope at all times. If any twisting, disorderly arrangement, or abnormal noise is found, stop the machine immediately for inspection.
Pay attention to the position of the hook and avoid colliding with the drum shell or the top of the arm when lifting heavy objects (maintain a distance of at least 1m).
3、 Regular maintenance phase
routine inspection
Handover inspection: Check for wire rope breakage, wear, plastic deformation, etc. If the pulley wear exceeds the standard, it should be replaced in a timely manner.
Lubrication and maintenance: Regularly lubricate the steel wire rope, pulley assembly, bearings, and other parts to reduce wear and corrosion.
Structural inspection: Confirm that the bolts are not loose, the metal structure is not cracked, and the power supply cables are not damaged.
Special maintenance
Wire rope replacement: When the wear of the dangerous section exceeds 5%, the rope diameter changes significantly locally, or severe corrosion occurs, the wire rope needs to be replaced immediately.
Pulley maintenance: Check the wear of the pulley groove bottom, replace the pulley if the wear exceeds the standard, and prevent the steel wire rope from being crushed and damaged.
Calibration of safety devices: Regularly verify safety devices such as limiters and torque limiters to ensure that the action error is less than ± 3%.
4、 Fault handling stage
Emergency shutdown
When encountering sudden malfunctions (such as wire rope breakage, hook detachment, equipment abnormal noise), immediately press the emergency stop button to cut off the power supply.
In case of wind speed exceeding level 5, rainy or foggy weather, or equipment failure during the lifting process, the operation should be stopped and safety measures should be taken (such as fixing heavy objects and setting up warning areas).
Troubleshooting and Repair
Wire rope failure: Check if the breakage is caused by overload, hooking or improper operation, and replace the wire rope with one that meets the safety factor.
Hook malfunction: deformed or cracked hooks need to be replaced immediately to avoid using defective hooks.
Electrical malfunction: Check if the power supply circuit and controller contactor are damaged, repair them, and conduct a no-load test before putting them back into use.
Accident records and improvements
Detailed record of the fault time, cause, and handling measures, analyze the fault mode (such as hooking, overload, insufficient maintenance).
Optimize operating procedures or strengthen training based on fault cases (such as increasing safety factor requirements under hook and hook conditions).
