1、 Pre use inspection stage

Equipment integrity check

Confirm that the steel wire rope has no abnormal conditions such as broken wires, wear, plastic deformation, local distortion, rope diameter changes, flattening, bending, twisting, or corrosion. If the steel wire rope reaches the scrap standard (such as exceeding the number of broken wires, reducing the diameter by more than 7%, etc.), it needs to be replaced immediately.

Check whether the hook is deformed or cracked, whether the anti detachment device is intact, and whether the pulley rotates flexibly.

Verify the sensitivity of the brake to ensure reliable maintenance of the cargo position unchanged; Test the accuracy of the action of the upper and lower limit limiters to prevent tipping or overtravel operation.

Electrical system inspection

Check if the power cord is intact and there is no risk of damage or leakage; Whether the directional operation of the control button is accurate, and whether there is any abnormal noise from the motor and reducer.

Confirm that the overload protection device, emergency stop button, and power-off protection function are functioning properly to avoid accidents caused by overload or sudden power outages.

Environmental and load assessment

Clean up foreign objects on the running track to ensure that the work area is free of obstacles; Check if the load weight is within the rated range. Load with irregular shape or center of gravity offset needs to be pre balanced.

In corrosive environments (such as SDS desulfurization environments), it is necessary to check whether the equipment protection measures (such as waterproof and dustproof covers, ventilation equipment) are in place.

2、 Stages during the operation process

Standardize operational procedures

Lifting operation: Slowly press the lifting button to make the hook smoothly contact the load, ensuring that the hook is firmly attached; Avoid rapid lifting that may cause the load to shake.

Operation control: Keep running at a constant speed and avoid sudden acceleration or braking; When changing direction, stop the load movement first and then switch smoothly.

Height management: rely on limit switches but not overly rely on them, slow down before approaching the limit height to prevent limit failure from causing top impact.

Real time monitoring and emergency response

Pay close attention to the load status to prevent abnormal shaking, rotation, or detachment; If the steel wire rope is found to be tangled, knotted, grooved or worn, immediately stop the operation and troubleshoot.

It is prohibited to press two buttons in opposite directions simultaneously to avoid electrical system conflicts; When a malfunction occurs, cut off the main power supply and handle it according to the emergency plan (such as urgently lowering heavy objects to unmanned areas).

Load and working condition adaptation

Avoid inclined lifting or overloading, especially under hook and loop conditions where the maximum torque of the motor may reach more than 3 times the rated value. It is necessary to ensure that the safety factor of the steel wire rope meets the design requirements.

For lifting mechanisms that handle high-temperature metals or flammable and explosive materials, two sets of brakes and height limiters need to be installed to enhance safety redundancy.

3、 Post use maintenance phase

Equipment repositioning and cleaning

Raise the hook to an appropriate height to avoid dragging the ground; Clean the surface dust and dirt of the equipment to prevent residual corrosive substances; Apply rust proof oil to components such as steel wire ropes and hooks.

Regular lubrication and component inspection

Add lubricating oil or grease to key parts such as gears and bearings to reduce wear and tear; Check the brake clearance and control box switch sensitivity to ensure that the brake pads are completely separated and the button operation is reliable.

Regularly measure the insulation resistance of the motor, check the winding temperature and operating current to prevent overload or phase loss operation.

Record keeping and professional maintenance

Arrange dedicated personnel to record equipment inspections, troubleshooting, and maintenance, and establish archives; Conduct a comprehensive inspection of the main performance and safety status every week, and promptly address any potential hazards.

When disassembling the lifting reducer, avoid using hard objects to strike. Use a wooden hammer to gently tap the protruding part of the box to prevent damage to the sealing surface.

4、 Special working condition precautions

Corrosive environment

In environments such as SDS desulfurization, it is necessary to increase ventilation equipment to reduce the concentration of corrosive gases, and install waterproof and dustproof covers for electrical components to prevent dust and moisture from entering.

High temperature or dangerous goods lifting

When lifting high-temperature metals, the lifting mechanism needs to be equipped with two sets of height limiters, and the order of switch actions should be set to control different circuit breakers; Each driving device needs to be equipped with two sets of brakes to ensure safety redundancy.

Long term idle equipment

Electric hoists that have been out of use for a long time should be started and operated regularly to prevent component corrosion; Check the main cables, switches, fuses, and other power supply lines to ensure that there are no aging or poor contact issues.
