Precautions for different stages of use of stainless steel lever hoist

1、 Selection stage

Material and Certification

Prioritize the use of 304 stainless steel material to ensure corrosion resistance.

Check the product certificate, inspection report, and rated load identification to confirm compliance with national standards (such as GB/T 20653-2020).

Choose products from well-known brands or reputable manufacturers to avoid safety hazards caused by inferior materials.

Appearance and Structure

The surface should be smooth, without cracks or burrs, and the welding joints should be firm.

The lifting chain is not twisted or deformed, and the hook anti loosening device is intact.

Key components such as brakes and gears require pre lubrication to ensure flexible rotation.

2、 Installation and debugging phase

Environmental requirements

The installation site should be dry, ventilated, and away from corrosive gases or liquids.

The track or I-beam should be horizontal and stable, with complete buffering devices and no obstacles at both ends.

Installation specifications

Check the integrity of the equipment and confirm that there is no transportation damage.

Adjust the gap between the walking wheel and the track to 3-5mm to ensure smooth operation.

Adjusting the displacement of the motor spindle to 1.5mm (conical rotor motor) results in the best braking effect.

The flame arrester must be installed correctly, and when the hook is lowered to the lowest point, the drum should retain more than 3 turns of steel wire rope.

Electrical and Lubrication

The wiring of the electrical control box is correct, and the motor insulation test is qualified.

Apply lubricating grease to the lifting chain, gears, bearings, and other parts to ensure smooth transmission.

3、 Daily use stage

Operating specifications

Overloading is prohibited: strictly use according to the rated load to avoid structural damage caused by overloading.

Certified on duty: Operators must undergo training and be familiar with equipment performance and safety regulations.

Pre lifting inspection: Confirm that the hook and chain are not damaged, firmly tied, and do not use the chain diagonally or singly.

Uniform force: Avoid pulling the zipper forcefully to prevent the chain from jumping or getting stuck; Immediately stop the machine for inspection upon discovering abnormal tension.

Operators are not allowed to stand directly under the hoist or on the path of lifting objects.

When multiple gourds work together, they are commanded by a dedicated person and lifted synchronously.

When suspending work, fix the hoist on the lifting chain to prevent self-locking failure.

When lifting diagonally or horizontally, adjust the zipper direction to be consistent with the sprocket to prevent it from slipping out of the groove.

4、 Maintenance phase

Daily inspection

Before use: Check whether the chain, hook, and brake are intact, and whether the lubrication parts are sufficient.

After use: Clean the surface dirt, apply anti rust oil, and store in a dry place.

Regular maintenance

Cycle: Daily inspection before each shift, comprehensive inspection every month, and in-depth maintenance by professional personnel every year.

Key components:

Crane chain: Check for wear and deformation, replace immediately if the wear exceeds 10%.

Brake: Adjust the clearance to ensure reliable braking; Friction plate wear exceeds the limit and needs to be replaced.

Gears and bearings: Supplement lubricating grease and promptly inspect in case of abnormal noise.

Electrical system: Check for circuit aging and poor contact, test limiters and emergency stop functions.

Record and Archive

Record each inspection, maintenance, and replacement of components, establish equipment files for easy traceability.

5、 Storage stage

Environmental requirements

Store in a cool, dry, and ventilated room, away from direct sunlight or high temperatures (such as in a boiler room).

The ground should be firm and flat, avoiding tilting or deformation under pressure.

Protective measures

When stored for a long time, clean the surface and apply anti rust oil. Apply lubricating grease to the chain and store it coiled.

Hang the hook or place it on a dedicated bracket to avoid deformation.

Regularly (every 3 months) start the equipment and run it without load to check if the function is normal.

6、 Scrap processing stage

Scrap standard

The main structure is severely corroded and deformed, and cannot be repaired.

Key components such as hooks and chains are worn out beyond the limit or broken.

The maintenance cost exceeds 50% of the original value, or upgrading is uneconomical.

Achieve the designed service life (usually 5-10 years, depending on the frequency of use).

Process flow

Scrap equipment must be marked with a "disabled" label and stored in isolation.

Entrust professional institutions to recycle and avoid accidents caused by misuse of components.

Update equipment ledger and cancel scrapped equipment information.
