Drum abnormal noise:

Reasons: Loose bolts on the drum shell, excessive gap between the shell and the supporting wheel (flange), cracks on the drum shell, open welding of the welded shell, loose fixing screws on the traveling drum and liner, excessive wear on the gap between the liner and the spindle, loose worm gear screw clutch, etc.

Handling: According to the inspection results, loose nuts can be tightened during shift handover and shutdown; If the noise is not severe, the winch load can be appropriately reduced, and attention should be paid to observation. Maintenance should be carried out until the specified shutdown for maintenance; If the noise is severe, the vehicle should be stopped immediately for repair or replacement to prevent the accident from escalating.

Uneven arrangement of steel wire ropes:

Harm: Accelerate the wear and tear of the steel wire rope, and even cause the steel wire rope to slide out of the drum, resulting in wire breakage in mild cases and rope breakage in severe cases.

Reason: Improper arrangement of the winch (lifting wire rope deviation angle does not meet the specified requirements), lack of oil in the winch pulley (guide wheel), failure or removal of the winch rope arrangement device, improper operation, etc.

Handling: In case of installation quality or failure of the rope arrangement device, it is necessary to promptly report and request someone to handle it; For improper operation or maintenance, it is necessary to carefully operate and maintain according to regulations; Special attention should be paid to clearing obstacles during the process of the inclined lane winch to prevent the steel wire rope from becoming loose or tight when lowering heavy objects.

Abnormal noise and vibration of reducer:

Reason: Gear mesh clearance is too tight or too loose, bearing clearance is too large, reducer or bearing bolts are loose, foreign objects fall into the reducer, etc.

Solution: Adjust the gear mesh clearance to the appropriate position. If the wear is severe, the gear should be replaced; Repair or replace loose bearings; Tighten loose screws; If any foreign object falls into the reducer, it should be stopped immediately to troubleshoot.

Brake brake overheating:

Reason: Using the brake too early, too much, or too aggressively; Loose brake shoe bolts or excessive wear of brake shoes, with bolt heads touching the brake wheel (or disc); The installation of brake shoes and brake wheels (or brake discs) is incorrect, and the contact area is too small; The brake wheel (or brake disc) swings significantly, etc.

Solution: Continuously summarize operational experience and improve operational skills; Strictly control the traction load and strictly prohibit the motor from releasing power and releasing the brake when the load is lowered; Regularly inspect and maintain, paying attention to the contact between the brake shoe and the brake wheel (or disc).

Disc brake not releasing:

Reason: Inappropriate adjustment of the length of the lead screw rod in the brake operating handle, inappropriate swing angle of the brake operating handle, blockage of the throttle hole of the overflow valve or failure of the slide valve, poor sealing of the overflow valve or oil leakage in the electro-hydraulic pressure regulating device, poor welding or breakage of the lead wire of the action ring of the electro-hydraulic pressure regulating device, etc.

Solution: Adjust the position of the brake operation handle in a timely manner, regularly clean the oil filter of the hydraulic system, keep the hydraulic oil clean, and avoid valve hole blockage.

Motor not turning or not stopping:

Reason for non rotation: power failure (such as power outage, phase failure, motor or line grounding, grounding protection power outage or low power supply voltage), stop button not returning to its original position, internal fault of starter, broken operating cable, motor burnout, etc.

Reasons for non-stop operation: malfunction or excessive humidity of the operating button, short circuit or grounding of the operating wire, burning and adhesion of the main or auxiliary contacts of the magnetic starter, inability to leave due to the arc extinguishing cover getting stuck, continuous opening of the intermediate relay contacts, improper placement of the magnetic starter or tilting back more than 15 ° after being hit, etc.

Solution: For motors that do not rotate, first check the power supply, then check the buttons. Other situations must be checked and handled by a dedicated electrician; For the motor not stopping, the magnetic starter should be urgently straightened and the operating handle of the magnetic starter belonging to the winch should be turned to the stop position.

Single phase operation of electric motor:

Reason: Power supply phase loss (one phase disconnected), motor stator coil with one phase disconnected, etc.

Hazard: If single-phase operation of the motor is not detected and stopped in a timely manner during start-up or operation, it may burn out the motor and cause accidents.

Solution: Quickly shut down the machine, identify the cause, and promptly report or seek assistance from a maintenance electrician.
