1、 Steel wire rope material

Steel wire material: Steel wire ropes are usually made of carbon steel or alloy steel, which have undergone cold drawing or cold rolling processes and have high tensile strength and toughness. The cross-sectional shapes of steel wires are diverse, including circular and irregular shapes (such as T-shaped, S-shaped, Z-shaped). Irregular cross-sectional steel wires are mainly used in the production of sealed steel wire ropes.

Surface treatment: The surface of steel wire can be treated with phosphating coating, galvanizing or plastic coating to improve its wear and corrosion resistance. For example, phosphating coated steel wire rope improves the wear resistance and corrosion resistance of the surface of the rope making steel wire through phosphating film; Galvanized steel wire rope provides anodic protection through a galvanized layer, enhancing its rust prevention performance; Coated steel wire rope is coated with plastic such as polyethylene, polypropylene, polyurethane, etc. on the outer surface of the steel wire rope or the outer surface of the strand rope.

2、 Rope core material

Rope core type: The rope core is an important component of the steel wire rope, mainly playing a supporting role to maintain the stable cross-sectional structure of the steel wire rope. The rope core material includes steel core and fiber core, among which the fiber core can be further divided into natural fiber core and synthetic fiber core.

Natural fiber cores, such as sisal, jute, cotton thread, etc., can store a large amount of lubricating grease, providing lubrication for steel wire ropes and extending their service life.

Synthetic fiber cores, such as polyethylene and polypropylene filaments, have excellent wear and corrosion resistance.

3、 Roll material

Material of the drum: The drum is usually made of high-quality cast iron or steel plate to ensure sufficient strength and rigidity. The surface of the drum is processed with rope grooves for winding steel wire ropes.

Rope groove design: The shape and size of the rope groove have a significant impact on the winding and release of the steel wire rope. Reasonable rope groove design can reduce the wear and jumping phenomenon of steel wire ropes, and improve the safety and reliability of equipment.

4、 Motor and reducer materials

Motor material: The motor is the power source of the electric hoist, usually using high-efficiency and energy-saving motors. The casing and internal components of the motor are often made of materials such as aluminum alloy or cast iron to ensure good heat dissipation performance and mechanical strength.

Material of reducer: The reducer is used to reduce the speed of the motor and increase the torque. The gears and gear shafts of the reducer are often made of materials such as alloy steel, which have high hardness and wear resistance after heat treatment.

5、 Shell and structural component materials

Shell material: The shell of an electric hoist is usually made of materials such as aluminum alloy or steel plate to ensure sufficient strength and rigidity. The surface of the shell can be sprayed to improve its corrosion resistance.

Material of structural components: Other structural components of electric hoists, such as brackets and hooks, are often made of steel or other materials to ensure sufficient load-bearing capacity and stability.
