Operator qualification: Forklift operators must undergo professional training and hold a valid operating license. Driving without a license is strictly prohibited.

Use of protective equipment: Wear a safety helmet, safety shoes, and high visibility jacket during operation to ensure personal protection is in place.

Equipment inspection:

Daily inspection: Before operation, it is necessary to check key components such as brakes, steering systems, control devices, warning devices, door frames, and tires. If damage or problems are found, they should be reported immediately and stopped from use.

Operation inspection: Check for oil and water leakage after startup, and monitor whether parameters such as pressure and temperature are normal during operation.

Operating standards:

Starting and driving: Observe the surroundings before starting, confirm safety, and then sound the horn before starting; When driving, keep the bottom of the fork 300-400mm above the ground, tilt the door frame backwards, and do not lift the fork too high; Pay attention to obstacles above when entering or leaving the work site or driving.

Turning and braking: When turning, if there are pedestrians or vehicles nearby, signals should be issued to prohibit sharp turns at high speeds; Unless under special circumstances, sudden braking is prohibited while driving with a load. The brake must not be used when driving uphill or downhill with a load unless under special circumstances.

Load operation: When using a fork to pick up goods, fork it as deeply as possible under the load, and be careful not to touch other goods or objects with the fork tip; The height of the load must not obstruct the driver's line of sight, and the forklift must be braked with brakes during loading and unloading; When the forklift approaches or withdraws items, the speed should be slow and steady, and be careful not to crush the items with the wheels; When carrying goods on a fork, the distance between the two forks should be adjusted to balance the load without deviation. One side of the goods should be placed against the shelf, and the weight of the fork should comply with the requirements of the load center curve sign; It is prohibited to use high-speed forks to pick up goods and collide with hard objects with fork heads.

Special scenario operation: When driving on a slope, the empty vehicle needs to reverse uphill when going up or down the slope, and the fork needs to move forward downhill; When moving large objects to block the line of sight, reverse the vehicle; Do not turn on slopes or drive across slopes; During forklift operation, the load must be in the lowest position that does not hinder driving, the gantry should be tilted back appropriately, and the load must not be raised except when stacking or loading.

Safe distance and warning:

Pedestrian safety: Maintain a safe distance between pedestrians and forklifts, especially in areas without physical barriers, to ensure that unauthorized personnel are not allowed to enter the work area; Use warning signs such as "forklift crossing" to remind pedestrians, and use horns to alert pedestrians at corners, entrances, exits, and near pedestrians.

Vehicle spacing: Maintain a safe distance from other forklifts to prevent unpredictable movement, and maintain a distance of at least three vehicle lengths or 20 feet while driving for safe parking.

Prohibited behavior:

It is prohibited to carry people while driving (unless the forklift is specifically designed), stand around or on the forklift, use the forklift to lift personnel for high-altitude operations, use braking inertia to slide objects, lift goods above people's heads, use people as additional counterweights, and stand on counterweights.

Speeding, overloading, drunk driving, fatigue driving, unauthorized reversing in congested traffic areas, and blindly operating without confirming safety are prohibited.

Parking and Closing: After use, press the front end of the forklift against the ground, tighten the handbrake to prevent slipping, park the forklift in the designated area, and remove the key.
