Gear Processing and Design:
Insufficient Bending Strength and Poor Contact Precision: If the gear's bending strength is insufficient or the contact precision is low, it will cause noise during gear meshing. The contact precision of gears is comprehensively evaluated by the contact spot. Poor contact, mainly due to tooth direction error affecting tooth length contact and base pitch deviation and tooth profile error affecting tooth height contact, will increase noise.
Low Motion Precision: Gear motion precision refers to the accuracy of motion transmission. Large periodic errors in gear motion precision, such as cumulative errors in gear ring radial runout during one rotation, can produce low-frequency noise, which increases as the error increases.
Eccentric and Unbalanced Rotor: An eccentric and unbalanced rotor will generate unbalanced centrifugal force during meshing operation, causing vibration in the gear train and thus noise. Therefore, dynamic balance detection of the rotor is necessary.
Bearing Wear:
Due to improper lubrication, bearings are prone to wear, leading to abnormal noise during operation.
Insufficient Lubrication:
The noise generated by gear friction during operation is the most common cause. When lubrication is insufficient or the quality of the lubricating grease is poor, the friction between gears increases, and so does the noise.
Assembly Accuracy:

During assembly, it is necessary to ensure normal gear transmission at all levels, proper meshing backlash, good tooth surface meshing, and secure fixation of positioning parts to avoid end face runout of gears. Improper installation of bearings, such as applying improper knocking during installation or collisions during bearing transportation and assembly, can also cause noise.
Vibration Transmission:
If there is no suitable lubricating grease to dampen vibrations inside the explosion-proof electric hoist reducer, internal component vibrations will be transmitted as noise.
