Before using a hydraulic winch for lifting and lowering operations, a comprehensive inspection should be conducted from five core dimensions: mechanical structure, hydraulic system, electrical control, safety devices, and operating environment. The specific contents are as follows:

1、 Mechanical structure inspection

Tightness of connectors

Check whether the bolts, pins, nuts and other connecting parts of the winch are loose or detached, especially paying attention to whether the anchor or foundation is firmly fixed.

Risk: Loose connectors may cause equipment displacement or structural instability, leading to accidents.

Braking system status

Check the uniformity of the release of the disc brake when there is no load, ensuring that the clearance between the brake shoes is consistent and does not exceed the specified value (if the brake shoes wear to a clearance of 2mm, they need to be adjusted, and if they exceed 8mm, they need to be replaced).

Test whether the pedal emergency brake switch is sensitive to ensure rapid braking in emergency situations.

Risk: Brake failure may cause the winch to lose control, resulting in personnel or equipment damage.

Wire rope and pulley system

Check whether the diameter and twist length of the steel wire rope meet the regulations, eliminate problems such as broken wires, rust or deformation, and ensure that the rope head is firmly fixed.

Conduct a load test on the pulley system to verify its load-bearing capacity and rotational flexibility.

Risk: Steel wire rope breakage or pulley jamming may cause heavy objects to fall.

Hooks and lifting devices

Check for cracks, deformations, or forks on the surface of the hook to ensure that fasteners such as pins and nuts are not loose.

Confirm that the installation position of the lifting equipment is correct and secure, and that the safety pins are complete and reliable.

Risk: Hook failure may cause heavy objects to fall off, endangering personnel safety.

2、 Hydraulic system inspection

Oil circuit and sealing performance

Check for oil leakage at various pipeline valve groups, pipe joints, etc., to ensure that the hydraulic system is not leaking or damaged.

Regularly clean the oil tank and filter, strictly prohibit the presence of solid free substances in the oil tank, and promptly eliminate bubbles in the hydraulic oil.

Risk: Oil leakage may cause insufficient pressure in the hydraulic system, affecting the normal operation of the winch.

Oil pump and hydraulic motor

Check if the axial piston oil pump and vane oil pump are working properly, and if there is any vibration or noise.

Confirm whether the hydraulic motor, oil pump housing, and pipelines are filled with oil, and whether the ball valves of the oil replenishment pump and control pump are open.

Risk: Oil pump failure may cause the winch to fail to start or operate unstably.

Oil level and temperature

Check if the oil level indicator in the fuel tank has reached the specified position and if the oil temperature meets the requirements (such as not exceeding 55 ℃ after continuous operation for more than 2 hours).

Risk: Low or high oil level may damage hydraulic components and affect the service life of the winch.

3、 Electrical control inspection

Electrical parameters and circuits

Check parameters such as power supply voltage, three-phase current balance, motor insulation resistance, and grounding resistance to ensure compliance with safety standards.

Check for any leakage in the electrical circuit and ensure that all wire connectors are not loose.

Risk: Electrical failure may result in equipment damage or electric shock accidents.

Operation control device

Check if all indicator instruments on the control panel are functioning properly, and test if all operation buttons and switches are flexible and accurate.

Check the burning condition of the electronic control switch and contacts, and replace them in a timely manner if they are not qualified.

Risk: Operation failure may lead to winch misoperation, causing safety accidents.

4、 Safety device inspection

Limiting and protective devices

Check the reliability of safety devices such as limit switches, safety ropes, and heavy-duty ropes to ensure that they can operate normally under specified conditions.

Test whether safety protection devices such as over roll protection switches and overspeed protection switches are sensitive and reliable.

Risk: Failure of safety devices may cause the winch to run beyond its limit, leading to serious accidents.

Emergency braking system

Check whether the emergency brake solenoid operates flexibly and reliably, and it is strictly prohibited to block it with anything.

Confirm that the safety protection device can quickly cut off the main power supply and issue an alarm signal in case of emergency situations such as over winding, overspeed, rope loosening, etc.

Risk: Failure of emergency braking may result in the inability to stop the winch in a timely manner, causing significant losses.

5、 Run environment check

Machine room or chamber conditions

Check whether the environmental conditions such as lighting, temperature, and noise in the computer room or chamber meet the requirements.

Confirm that the protective devices are intact and effective, such as depth indicators and over roll switches, which are in the correct positions.

Risk: Adverse environments may affect the normal operation of the winch, increasing the risk of malfunctions.

Equipment cleaning and maintenance

Regularly wipe the equipment to keep it clean and bright, and prevent dust and debris from entering the interior of the winch.

Regularly replace hydraulic oil and filter element, lubricate mechanical parts such as hooks, ropes, pulleys, gears, etc.

Risk: Equipment dirt or insufficient lubrication may lead to increased wear and shorten its service life.
