How should hydraulic hoist maintenance be done in daily life

The daily maintenance of hydraulic hoist (hydraulic crane or hydraulic lift) needs to be carried out from four dimensions: hydraulic system, mechanical components, electrical system, and safe operation. The following are specific measures:

1、 Hydraulic system maintenance

Oil management

Oil level check: Before daily operation, confirm the sufficient oil level through the oil tank level window. If it is below the marking line, supplement the same brand of hydraulic oil through a filter screen to avoid mixing impurities or water.

Oil quality monitoring: Check the oil quality every 6 months or 1000 working hours. If the oil appears brown, milky white, or has an odor, it needs to be replaced immediately. After long-term use, discharge condensate and sediment every month (after shutting down at night, unscrew the drain plug until clean oil flows out).

Filter element replacement: Clean or replace the inlet filter element every 500 hours, and replace the return filter element every 1000 hours to ensure the cleanliness of the oil.

Oil pipe inspection: Daily check for pipeline damage and leakage, and replace damaged pipelines immediately; When not in use for a long time, clean the water and impurities at the bottom of the fuel tank every half month.

Component maintenance

Valve protection: The pressure and flow rate of the hydraulic system valves have been set before leaving the factory. It is strictly prohibited to touch them arbitrarily to avoid affecting their performance.

Oil cylinder maintenance: After operation, observe whether the oil cylinder leaks and replace the seals if necessary; Regularly check for scratches on the piston rod and repair them in a timely manner to prevent damage to the seal.

Exhaust operation: If the system noise or vibration is high, it may be due to air mixing, and the exhaust valve needs to be opened to make each mechanism reciprocate multiple times to exhaust the air.

2、 Mechanical component maintenance

Wire rope inspection

Check the wear level of the steel wire rope daily. If the wire is broken, corroded, or deformed beyond the standard, it should be replaced immediately to ensure the safety of the bearing.

Lubricate pulleys and bearings every 200 hours to reduce wear and extend service life.

Structural components and fasteners

Inspect structural components (such as brackets and beams) weekly for cracks or deformations, and promptly repair or replace them.

Check bolts, nuts, and other fasteners for looseness daily to prevent equipment malfunctions during operation.

Adjust the brake clearance every 500 hours to ensure sensitive and reliable braking; Test the braking performance every month, and if the braking distance exceeds the standard, it needs to be repaired.

3、 Electrical system maintenance

Line inspection

Monthly inspection of electrical circuits for aging, damage, or looseness, with a focus on checking joints and insulation layers to avoid short circuits or electrical leakage.

Test safety devices (such as limit switches and emergency stop buttons) weekly to ensure proper functionality.

Grounding and lightning protection

Check the grounding resistance (≤ 4 Ω) every six months to prevent accidents caused by lightning strikes or static electricity; When not in use for a long time, the tires need to be inflated, the frame should be padded with wooden blocks, and the electrical system should be run empty once a week to maintain its activity.

4、 Safe operation and cleaning

Operating Specifications

Overloading is strictly prohibited to avoid damage to the hydraulic system; Operators need to hold certificates and be familiar with equipment performance and emergency measures.

Confirm that there are no obstacles in the work environment before homework, and avoid collisions or rollovers; Pay close attention to abnormal oil temperature, pressure, and sound during homework, and promptly shut down for troubleshooting.

Cleaning and rust prevention

Thoroughly clean the oil cylinder, pipelines, levers, and control buttons after homework, remove dust and oil stains, and prevent dirt from adhering and causing component jamming or corrosion.

When sealed for a long time, retract the equipment and apply anti rust oil, and run it regularly without load to prevent parts from rusting or deforming.

5、 Maintenance cycle and records

Daily maintenance: Check the oil level, wire rope, fasteners, and cleanliness daily, and record any abnormal situations.

Monthly maintenance: replace filter element, inspect electrical and braking system, lubricate pulleys and bearings.

Annual overhaul: Conduct a comprehensive inspection of the hydraulic system, mechanical components, and electrical components, replace worn parts and hydraulic oil (or extend the cycle based on oil quality analysis results).

Maintain ledger: Establish detailed maintenance records, including dates, contents, replacement parts, and operators, for easy traceability and optimization of maintenance plans.
