Installing a running electric hoist requires following a systematic process that includes key steps such as pre installation preparation, body installation, safety device debugging, load testing, and acceptance. The specific steps are as follows:

1、 Preparation before installation

Equipment unboxing inspection:

Confirm that the electric hoist and its accessories (such as wire ropes, hooks, control boxes, manuals, certificates of conformity, etc.) are complete and undamaged.

Inspect metal structural components (such as shells, hooks) for deformation, cracks, or rust.

Check whether the surface of the steel wire rope is smooth, free of broken wires or excessive wear, and whether the rope end is firmly fixed.

Confirm that the appearance of components such as motors and reducers is undamaged, and that the protection of the wiring terminals is intact.

Test whether electrical components (such as contactors, limit switches) operate flexibly and whether the insulation layer is not damaged.

Installation environment assessment:

Load bearing structure verification: If it is a track installation, it is necessary to confirm that the model, length, and installation span of the I-beam track meet the design requirements, the straightness deviation of the track is ≤ 5mm/10m, and the height difference at the joint is ≤ 1mm. If it is a fixed installation, strength verification of the wall or steel beam suspension point is required to ensure that its load-bearing capacity is ≥ 1.5 times the rated lifting capacity of the electric hoist.

Venue and Space: Clear obstacles in the installation area, reserve an operating space of ≥ 1.5m, ensure a lighting brightness of ≥ 200lux, and avoid damp, excessive dust, or flammable and explosive environments.

Power supply adaptability: Check that the power supply voltage (three-phase/single-phase), frequency, and equipment rated parameters are consistent. The cable cross-section should meet the current load requirements (such as 380V, 10A motors requiring ≥ 2.5mm ² copper core wire), and be equipped with leakage protection devices.

Preparation of tools and materials:

Tools: torque wrench (torque range 80-300N · m), level (accuracy 0.02mm/m), tape measure (5m), insulation resistance meter (500V level), lifting equipment (such as 5t chain hoist or crane, selected according to the weight of the hoist).

Materials: High strength bolts (grade 8.8 and above), flat/spring washers, anti rust paint, cable conduit (such as PVC or metal corrugated pipe), fireproof mud (used for cable conduit sealing).

2、 Installation of electric hoist body

Installation of load-bearing structures (taking track type as an example):

Track bracket fixation: Install track brackets according to the design spacing (usually ≤ 2m), and use chemical anchor bolts or welding to fix the brackets to the wall or steel beams (welding requires non-destructive testing). The horizontal deviation of the brackets should be ≤ 2mm/m.

I-beam track laying: Lift the I-beam track onto the bracket, adjust the centerline deviation of the track to ≤ 3mm, use connecting plate bolts (torque ≥ 150N · m) at the joint, and install anti slip blocks below the joint.

Electric hoist hoisting in place:

Use a chain hoist or crane to lift the electric hoist, align the wheel set with the I-beam track, slowly insert it into the track, and check that the contact area between the wheel and the track is ≥ 80%, with no jamming phenomenon.

If it is a fixed installation, connect the hoist to the pre embedded lifting point bolt through the lifting ear (torque according to the instructions, usually ≥ 200N · m).

Electrical wiring and fixing:

Electrical wiring: carried out in a power-off state, the main power line is threaded through a conduit and connected to the control box. The control line is connected to the limit switch and remote control (if any). After wiring is completed, the insulation resistance is checked with an insulation resistance meter to ensure that the insulation resistance is ≥ 2M Ω and waterproof sealing is done.

Installation of steel wire rope and hook: Thread the steel wire rope through the drum and hook pulley, fix the rope end with a pressure plate (the number of pressure plates is ≥ 3, the bolt torque is ≥ 80N · m), adjust the hook to a vertical state, and ensure that the steel wire rope is not twisted.

3、 Debugging of safety devices

Installation of limiters:

Fix the up/down limit switch next to the drum, adjust the position of the collision block, so that when the hook rises to the limit position, the remaining rope of the wire rope drum is ≥ 3 turns; When the bottom of the hook is at least 0.5m above the ground (or obstacle) during descent, the limit is triggered.

Buffer and anti detachment device:

Install rubber buffers at both ends of the track and check that the compression of the buffers is ≤ 1/3 when the electric hoist reaches the end of the track.

Confirm that the anti detachment mechanism of the wheels is tightly attached to the track flange.

4、 Load testing and acceptance

No load debugging:

Connect the power supply, press the control button, check that the motor running direction is consistent with the control button label, and that the hoist is running smoothly in both the up and down directions (track type) without any abnormal noise (≤ 85dB).

When the limit switch is triggered, the equipment should immediately stop and can operate normally after manual reset.

Use a spirit level to check if the levelness deviation of the gourd body is ≤ 1mm/m, and if the oil temperature of the reducer is ≤ 60 ℃ (after running for 30 minutes).

Load debugging:

Load in stages at 50%, 80%, 100%, 125% (dynamic load), and 150% (static load) of the rated lifting capacity, and run for 3 working cycles (lifting operation lowering) after each loading. Check that the steel wire rope does not slip or jump, and that the hook is not tilted; The braking device is sensitive, and the downward movement of the heavy object after power failure is ≤ 1/100 of the rated lifting height; The motor and reducer are not overheated (temperature rise ≤ 40 ℃), and the bolts are not loose.

Acceptance requirements:

After installation, a 'Installation and Debugging Report' is required, which includes equipment parameters, installation data, and debugging records.

Entrust a third-party testing agency to inspect the load-bearing structure, electrical safety, and load capacity. After passing the inspection, handle the acceptance procedures and archive installation drawings, instructions, testing reports, and other materials.
