To extend the service life of explosion-proof pneumatic cranes, it is necessary to establish a maintenance system from ten aspects: daily cleaning, lubrication maintenance, electrical system inspection, key component maintenance, hydraulic system maintenance, safety device testing, explosion-proof performance special maintenance, operation standard management, environmental adaptability adjustment, and professional maintenance records. Specific measures are as follows:

1、 Daily cleaning and corrosion prevention

Regularly clean the surface of equipment: remove dust, oil stains, and debris to prevent corrosive substances from corroding metal parts. Focus on cleaning structural components such as main beams, support legs, pulleys, etc., to avoid dust accumulation that may cause poor heat dissipation or mechanical jamming.

Check the integrity of the explosion-proof enclosure: remove debris and flammable materials from the surface of the enclosure to ensure that there are no cracks or mechanical deformations. Unused wire holes should be sealed with steel plates with a thickness of ≥ 2mm, and the transparent plate of the observation window should be intact and free of cracks.

2、 Lubrication system maintenance

Regularly add lubricants: According to the manufacturer's recommendations, add lubricating oil or grease to friction parts such as bearings, gears, and pulleys to reduce wear. For example, when the lubricating oil level of the reducer and winch is insufficient, it needs to be replenished in a timely manner.

Check the sealing of the lubrication system: Ensure that there is no oil leakage in the hydraulic cylinder and hydraulic pipes, the manual directional valve operates flexibly, the hydraulic oil level meets the requirements, and avoid overheating or damage to components due to insufficient lubrication.

3、 Special inspection of electrical system

Cable and terminal block inspection: Regularly check whether the cable is damaged, whether the terminal block is loose, and ensure good insulation of the electrical circuit. After rainy or snowy weather, it is necessary to focus on checking the insulation of electrical components to prevent short circuits.

Maintenance of explosion-proof electrical components: Check whether the fixing bolts and spring washers of the shell are complete and tightened, and keep the motor bearings clean and regularly replenish lubricating oil. The oil level of oil filled electrical equipment should be maintained at the oil mark position, and the oil temperature should not exceed the specified value.

4、 Maintenance and replacement of key components

Wire rope inspection: Regularly inspect the wire rope for broken, flattened, or twisted wires. If the wire breakage exceeds the standard or the flattening is severe, it needs to be replaced immediately. At the same time, check whether the steel wire rope clamp is securely fastened.

Maintenance of brake and operating components: Check the sensitivity of the brake and adjust the clearance between the brake wheels to be uniform and consistent. Lubricate and tighten rotating components such as gears and bearings to prevent structural damage caused by looseness.

5、 Hydraulic system maintenance

Hydraulic oil management: Regularly check the oil level in the hydraulic tank and replenish or replace the hydraulic oil in a timely manner. Clean the inside of the fuel tank, replace the oil filter, and ensure that the oil cleanliness meets the requirements.

Pipeline and joint inspection: Check for leaks in hydraulic pipelines and joints. Safety valves, pressure relays, and other components should act sensitively to prevent equipment from losing control due to hydraulic system failures.

6、 Functional testing of safety devices

Limit and protection devices: Regularly test safety devices such as travel limit, overload protection, and power-off protection to ensure their normal and reliable function. For example, the overload protector needs to operate accurately within the rated load range.

Emergency braking device: Simulate emergency situations to test the response speed of the braking device, ensuring that it can quickly stop the operation of the equipment in case of emergencies.

7、 Special maintenance for explosion-proof performance

Shell temperature monitoring: Check that the surface temperature of the shell does not exceed the maximum temperature and temperature rise limit specified by the product to prevent the risk of explosion caused by overheating.

Explosion proof structure inspection: Confirm that the explosion-proof joint surface of the explosion-proof electrical equipment is not damaged and the explosion-proof gap value meets the standards. For positive pressure equipment, check whether the air inlet temperature exceeds the standard and whether the micro pressure relay operates sensitively.

8、 Operation standard management

Adhere to operating procedures: Operators need to receive professional training, familiarize themselves with equipment structure and performance, and strictly follow the instructions for operation. Avoid overloading or prolonged continuous operation to prevent equipment overheating.

Running in period management: New or overhauled equipment should control the working load to not exceed 80% of the rated load during the running in period, and strengthen lubrication point maintenance.

9、 Environmental adaptability adjustment

Ventilation and heat dissipation: Ensure good ventilation in the operating environment of the equipment and avoid prolonged operation in high temperature, humid, or corrosive environments. Regularly clean the heat dissipation channel to prevent dust blockage.

Cold prevention and cooling measures: Check the lubrication system and hydraulic system before winter, and replace the low-temperature lubricating oil; Clean the cooling system before summer to prevent equipment from overheating.

10、 Professional maintenance and recording

Regular professional maintenance: Entrust professional personnel to conduct professional maintenance every six months or one year, including motor bearing replacement, explosion-proof component repair, etc., to restore the explosion-proof performance of the equipment.

Maintenance record management: Establish maintenance files to record information such as maintenance time, content, personnel, and costs, analyze equipment lifespan and maintenance cycles, and provide a basis for subsequent maintenance.
