To extend the service life of pneumatic winches, maintenance measures need to be systematically implemented from seven aspects: daily operation standards, regular inspection and maintenance, lubrication management, component replacement, storage and maintenance, safety protection, and professional maintenance. The specific measures are as follows:
1、 Daily operation standards
load control
Strictly follow the rated load of the equipment and avoid overloading operation. Overloading can cause wire rope breakage, motor overheating, or structural deformation, significantly reducing equipment lifespan.
Maintain a stable load during operation, avoid sudden stops and starts, and reduce mechanical impact damage to components such as gears and bearings.
environmental adaptability
Pneumatic winches should be used in a dry and ventilated environment to prevent electrical components from short circuiting or metal parts from rusting due to moisture.
Avoid long-term operation in high temperature, high dust or corrosive gas environments, and install protective covers or filtering devices if necessary.
2、 Regular inspection and maintenance
Daily inspection items
Wire rope: Check for broken wires, wear, rust or deformation, and replace them in a timely manner according to standards (such as GB/T5972).
Braking system: Test the sensitivity of the brake, ensure that the gap between the brake band and the brake disc is within 1-1.2mm, and replace it when the wear exceeds 30%.
Electrical components: Clean the oil stains and oxide layer on the contacts, polish the burnt contacts with fine sandpaper, and check the integrity of the insulation ring.
Transmission components: Check the lubrication of the drum bearings, electromagnetic brake hinges, shaft pins, and other parts, and add oil 1-2 times per shift.
Regular maintenance plan
First level maintenance (100-300 hours): Thoroughly clean the machinery, replace lubricating oil, and check the brake and gearbox oil levels.
Secondary maintenance (600 hours): Measure the insulation resistance of the motor, disassemble and inspect the gearbox and brake, check for wire rope breakage, and evaluate drum wear.
Annual overhaul: replace worn bearings, gears and other vulnerable parts, repair deformation of basic components, and restore equipment technical performance.
3、 Lubrication management
lubrication interval
Transmission components: drum bearings, electromagnetic brake hinges, etc. are lubricated 1-2 times per shift.
Guide pulley and wire rope: lubricate every 48 working hours.
Gearbox: Check the oil level 1-2 times a week and replace the lubricating oil every six months.
Lubricant selection
Use No. 4 calcium based grease or No. 70 engine oil in summer, and No. 2 calcium based grease or No. 50 engine oil in winter.
The motor bearings use No.1 calcium based grease, and the gearbox uses winter gear oil (such as SY1108-77).
4、 Component replacement standards
Brake band: Replace when the thickness of the middle is less than 4mm or the thickness of the edge is less than 3mm. When re riveting, the depth of the rivet head should be controlled at 1.5mm.
Wire rope: Complies with GB1102-74 standard, and should be replaced immediately if there is severe wear or excessive wire breakage.
Bearings: Replace when there is abnormal vibration, noise, or excessive radial clearance to avoid overheating caused by poor lubrication.
5、 Storage and transportation maintenance
Long term storage
Park in a dry room, and store outdoors on a flat surface with wooden boards and covered with a cover cloth.
Before storage, clean the internal dirt, repair damaged parts, and apply butter to the exposed metal areas to prevent rust.
Start the engine once a month and travel short distances to establish a new oil film to prevent rusting.
Transportation protection
Fix the equipment during transportation to avoid collisions that may cause structural deformation or component loosening.
Provide additional packaging protection for sensitive components such as electrical components and hydraulic systems.
6、 Safety protection measures
Double braking: Ensure that the pneumatic winch is equipped with primary and secondary braking devices, which can act separately or simultaneously to enhance safety.
Signal system: Clear signal instructions are required during operation, and drivers must undergo professional training before taking up their posts. Non operators are prohibited from operating.
Emergency handling: In case of mechanical malfunction, brake failure, or bearing overheating during operation, immediately stop the machine and troubleshoot.
7、 Professional maintenance and recording
Troubleshooting: Thoroughly investigate the cause when a malfunction occurs, and strictly prohibit operation with a problem. The replacement of parts requires the selection of materials according to the design drawings or instructions.
Maintenance records: Detailed records of each maintenance time, content, replacement parts, and test data, providing reference for subsequent maintenance.
