The malfunction of hydraulic forklifts may be caused by hydraulic systems, electrical systems, mechanical components, or operational issues, and should be gradually investigated based on specific fault symptoms. The following are common faults and their solutions:
1、 Hydraulic system malfunction
Trembling or unable to lift
Reason for malfunction: There is air in the hydraulic cylinder, oil leakage in the hydraulic system, lack of oil in the oil tank, clogged oil filter, insufficient pressure in the relief valve, worn oil pump, worn solenoid valve or one-way valve, etc.

Lift and exhaust multiple times with heavy load.
Repair or replace leaking components.
Add or replace hydraulic oil.
Clean the oil filter or hydraulic oil valve circuit.
Adjust the pressure of the overflow valve again.
Replace worn oil pumps, solenoid valves, check valves, or seals.
Fork self lowering
Reason for malfunction: Oil leakage in pipeline or oil circuit joints, dirt jamming in solenoid valves or check valves, or worn sealing rings.

Clean the valve assembly and replace the seals.
Slow lifting speed or inability to lift
Reason for malfunction: In addition to the hydraulic system malfunction mentioned above, it may also be caused by loose control switch micro switches, loose DC contactor wiring, etc.

2、 Electrical system malfunction
Forklift cannot start (contactor not working)
Fault causes: burnt out control circuit fuse, poor or damaged contact of power switch, blown main circuit fuse of electrical system, loose or detached battery connection.

Replace the fuse.
Repair or replace the power switch.
Replace the main circuit fuse.
Tighten the battery connection.
Forklift cannot move (contactor works but vehicle does not move)
Reason for malfunction: The magnetic brake near the driving wheel is not engaged, the carbon brush of the walking motor is worn or the commutator is in poor contact, the excitation coil of the walking motor is disconnected or the wire end is in poor contact.

Repair or replace the brake.
Repair or replace carbon brushes or commutators.

3、 Mechanical component failure
Abnormal noise generated by the walking drive wheel

4、 Operational issues
Improper operation leading to malfunction
Reason for malfunction: rough operation, overload, unbalanced load, etc.

5、 Daily maintenance and upkeep suggestions
Regularly check hydraulic oil
Inspection content: Quality and quantity of hydraulic oil.

Attention: Choose the same type of oil as the original pressurized oil.
Clean the radiator
Function: Ensure the normal operation of the engine.

Check the tire wear condition
Inspection content: tire tread depth and air pressure.
Replacement standard: Replace when the tire tread depth is less than 1.6 millimeters.

Adjust brake pads
