Guidelines for using pneumatic hoists during operation and comprehensive anti rust maintenance plan

1、 Preparation and installation specifications before use

Installation location selection

The ground should be flat and solid, avoiding equipment shaking caused by tilting or soft environments.

The installation height should meet the lifting requirements and reserve safe operating space.

Connection and trial operation

Gas connection: Use a specified inner diameter (such as 20mm) gas pipe with a length not exceeding 20m (if it is too long, the pipe diameter needs to be increased) to ensure that the joint is tight and leak free.

No load test run: Operate twice in both directions to check the braking performance, frame load-bearing capacity, and smooth operation.

Compressed air requirements

The air pressure is maintained at 0.4-0.6MPa and needs to be filtered (water separator) and lubricated (oil mist separator) to ensure that the air is clean and free of impurities.

2、 Operating standards and safety precautions

Start and Stop Principle

Follow the principle of "slow start, slow stop" to avoid equipment damage caused by emergency stop and start.

During the lifting process, maintain a stable connection between the hook and the object to prevent accidents caused by shaking.

Load and height control

Overloading is strictly prohibited: used within the rated load range, ranging from 250 kilograms to 30 tons depending on the model.

Lifting height: Parts are usually not more than 80cm above the ground, and when encountering obstacles, the maximum height should not exceed 3m. It is strictly prohibited to cross over personnel's heads.

Running status monitoring

Always pay attention to abnormal sounds, vibrations, or air leaks, and immediately stop the machine for inspection.

Cut off the main power supply when a fault is detected, and prohibit working with the fault.

Personnel and Protection Requirements

The operator needs to receive training and be familiar with safety operating procedures. It is strictly prohibited to pull or hang diagonally.

Wear labor protection equipment (work clothes, safety shoes, helmets, etc.) according to regulations.

3、 Rust prevention maintenance and upkeep measures

Lubrication management

Regularly replace lubricating grease: Apply rust proof grease containing lithium or calcium based components to parts such as gearboxes and bearings to form an oil film to isolate corrosive media.

Lubrication of steel wire rope: Use anti rust lubricating oil and wrap it with tarpaulin or plastic film when it is not in use for a long time to reduce contact with humid air.

Component inspection and replacement

Regular inspection: Check vulnerable parts such as brakes, chains, and hooks every month, and replace them promptly if wear or damage is found.

Scrap standard: The steel wire rope shall be executed in accordance with the CB/T5972-1986 specification, and the chain shall be treated with alloy steel surface hardening to extend its service life.

Cleaning and anti-corrosion treatment

Surface cleaning: Regularly remove dust and oil stains, use hardwood or bamboo chips to scrape off rust spots, and avoid scratching the surface with metal brushes.

Coating repair: If the anti rust coating falls off, clean it and apply compatible anti rust grease or paint to ensure even coating.

Humidity management: Install dehumidifiers or ventilation fans to maintain the ambient humidity below 60%.

Explosion proof component isolation: Sealed enclosures are used for key components such as brakes and electrical control boxes to prevent corrosive gases from entering.

4、 Special scenario handling and emergency measures

Cut off gas protection

When the gas source is interrupted, the equipment automatically brakes to prevent the load from falling.

Regularly test the gas cut-off protection function to ensure reliability.

overheat protection

After prolonged continuous operation, the motor may automatically shut down (due to overheating protection function) and can continue to work after cooling down.

Emergency operation

If the lifted object slides down due to a malfunction during lifting, the operator needs to take emergency measures to lower the heavy object to an unmanned area.

5、 Long term disuse and storage management

Storage environment

Choose a dry and ventilated place to avoid humid or corrosive gas environments.

When hanging and storing, ensure that the frame, steel wire rope, and crossbeam are firm and reliable.

During the long-term shutdown period, start and run with no load once a month to check the status of each component.

Apply rust proof oil to exposed metal parts to prevent rusting.
