For explosion-proof pneumatic hoists in operation, the rust prevention method needs to be implemented systematically from three aspects: key component protection, environmental control, and operating standards, based on the mechanical structural characteristics and explosion-proof requirements. The specific methods are as follows:
1、 Targeted protection of key components
Gearbox rust prevention
Selection of rust proof grease: Apply rust proof grease containing barium petroleum sulfonate on the surface of the gear, which can form a dense oil film and effectively block moisture and oxygen.
Regular inspection: Check the gear corrosion and oil film integrity every quarter. If the oil film cracks or falls off, it should be promptly repainted.
Operating standard: When replacing gears, ensure that the surface of the new gear is clean and free of impurities to avoid accelerated wear and corrosion caused by particle embedding.
Rust prevention of steel wire rope
Lubricating oil selection: Apply rust proof lubricating oil on the surface of the steel wire rope, preferably using grease containing lithium or calcium based components, which have strong adhesion and can maintain lubrication effect for a long time.
Non work period protection: When not in use for a long time, wrap the steel wire rope with tarpaulin or plastic film to reduce contact with humid air.
Regular inspection: During shift handover, check whether the steel wire rope is bent, knotted, or has signs of twisting on the surface. If the rope strands are broken or the lubricating oil is insufficient, immediate action should be taken.
Rust prevention of hook bearings
Lubricating grease injection: Calcium based anti rust lubricating grease is injected into the hook bearing to form an oil film to isolate the corrosive medium.
Regular inspection: Check the lubrication condition of the bearings every month. If the grease is found to be dry or deteriorated, it needs to be cleaned with kerosene and refilled with new grease.
2、 Environmental Control and Operating Standards
Environmental humidity management
Installation location selection: Arrange the hoist in a well ventilated area with humidity below 60%, avoiding proximity to corrosive gas discharge outlets.
Dehumidification equipment configuration: Install dehumidifiers or ventilation fans in humid environments to ensure air circulation and reduce the formation of condensation water.
Operating Specifications
Load control: It is strictly prohibited to use excessive loads to avoid component deformation and damage to the anti-corrosion coating caused by overload.
Suspension time limit: During the working process, it is strictly prohibited to suspend the load in the air for a long time to prevent permanent deformation of the parts due to stress concentration and increase the risk of corrosion.
Power management: After work is completed, cut off the main power supply to prevent electrical components from short circuiting or corrosion due to moisture.
3、 Repair of rusted parts
Rust removal
Tool selection: Use hardwood or bamboo chips to scrape off rust spots, avoid using metal brushes to prevent scratching the metal surface.
Cleaning treatment: If the crude oil film is damaged or deteriorated, first clean the corroded area with kerosene or gasoline to ensure that the surface is clean and free of impurities.
Re oiling
Selection of rust proof grease: After cleaning, apply rust proof grease compatible with crude oil film, and prioritize products with good salt spray resistance.
Coating thickness control: Ensure that the anti rust grease coating is uniform and of moderate thickness to avoid excessive thickness causing oil film detachment or insufficient protection.
