1、 Operating standards: Strictly follow safety guidelines

Prohibit overload use

The rated load of the pneumatic hoist must be clearly marked, and overloading operations are strictly prohibited. Overloading can cause chain breakage, hook deformation, and even equipment overturning.

Case: A factory overloaded and lifted 15 tons of equipment, causing the crane legs to sink and the equipment to slip, damaging the distribution cabinet and causing a power outage.

Standardize the lifting posture

The hook should maintain a distance from the sharp edge of the object to avoid direct contact and shear force.

When the length of the lifted object is insufficient, a shackle connection must be used. It is strictly prohibited to use steel wire rope ends to thread thin steel wire ropes for extension to prevent shear force damage.

Prevent falling from high altitude

The binding of suspended objects should be firm to avoid looseness; Maintenance personnel must wear safety belts during work.

Case: In a steel plant accident, the driver was hit and fell while standing in violation of regulations, exposing the lack of safety training and command.

Avoid mechanical injury

Operators need to stay away from rotating components such as drive devices and boom extension mechanisms to prevent getting involved in accidents.

Isolation measures should be taken between the cutting area and the hook activity area to avoid collisions.

2、 Equipment Maintenance: Regular Inspection and Maintenance

Chain protection

During the movement of the lifting chain, it is not allowed to rub against other objects to avoid cutting the chain by dragging the steel edge diagonally.

Scrap standard: When the diameter wear of the chain exceeds 10%, the elongation of the 11 link distance exceeds 3%, the elongation of a single link distance exceeds one twentieth, or cracks appear, it needs to be scrapped.

Hook inspection

When the twisting deformation angle of the hook exceeds 10%, the dangerous section and neck plastic deformation, and the hook mouth size deformation exceeds 1/7 of the nominal size, it needs to be scrapped.

Lubrication and Cleaning

Regularly add lubricating oil, clean the dirt on the steel wire rope before storing, apply oil, and store it coiled in a dry place.

When oiling, use a hard bristled brush or small wooden pieces, and it is strictly prohibited to directly oil the working wire rope by hand.

Brake system adjustment

When adjusting the braking sliding amount, it is necessary to ensure that the braking sliding amount S under rated load is ≤ V/100 (V is the stable lifting distance within one minute under load).

3、 Environmental management: adapting to complex working conditions

Compressed air quality

Compressed air needs to be clean and dry, with particle sizes less than 40 μ m and quantities below 5 grams per cubic meter.

Correctly connect the coarse filtration device and the fine filtration device, with an intake pipe diameter of not less than DN20 and sealed to prevent dirt from entering.

High temperature operation protection

When used on high-temperature objects, insulation measures must be taken to prevent the gourd from being damaged by heat.

Work stoppage due to adverse weather conditions

Stop working when the wind reaches level 6 or above, and anchor the crane; Work must be stopped in coastal areas with winds above level 7.

Explosion proof environment adaptation

Pneumatic hoists are suitable for Class I explosion-proof coal mine non mining working face locations, as well as Class II explosion-proof locations with Class IIA, IIB, IIC flammable gases or steam air mixtures.

The explosion-proof form is "explosion-proof type", and the exposed explosion-proof components are made of non sparking materials.

4、 Personnel training: Enhancing safety awareness and skills

Operational Qualification Certification

Operators need to undergo professional training and be familiar with the working principle, internal structure, and safety precautions of pneumatic hoists.

It is strictly prohibited for personnel without operating qualifications to operate. Before operation, it is necessary to read the installation and use instructions thoroughly.

Regular inspection and recording

Check the brake, hook, wire rope, and safety device daily, and troubleshoot any performance abnormalities before operating.

Statutory regular inspections must be recorded for easy traceability of issues.

Emergency response capability

When approaching a person during operation, a bell or alarm should be sounded, and the emergency stop signal should be immediately activated.

When there is a sudden power outage during work, turn the controller handle back to zero position and check if the action is normal before restarting.

Maintenance safety regulations

During maintenance, cut off the main power supply and hang a warning sign or lock it. If the fault is not eliminated, notify the incoming driver.

Use original parts when replacing components to avoid accidents caused by compatibility issues.
