The operation of manual forklifts needs to follow standardized procedures, covering four core links: pre start inspection, driving operation, load handling, and parking regulations. The specific steps are as follows:
1、 Pre start inspection and preparation
Vehicle status check
Make a lap around the car to confirm that the tire pressure is sufficient and there is no oil or liquid leakage on the body.
Check if the control lever is in neutral position and ensure that the gear is reset.
Check the readings of the fuel gauge and water temperature gauge (the water temperature should be within the range of 75-85 ℃), and record the odometer data.
Confirmation of safety devices
Test whether the horn sound is clear and loud to ensure that the warning function is normal.
Check the effectiveness of the braking system, and confirm that the brake pressure gauge reading meets the standard for pneumatic braking vehicles.
Adjust the seat to a comfortable position, fasten the seat belt, and avoid sliding during driving.
Initial adjustment of fork
Use the control lever to lift the fork 15-30 centimeters off the ground and tilt it slightly backwards (the door frame tilts backwards) to lower the center of gravity and improve stability.
2、 Driving operation specifications
Starting process
Step on clutch: Step on the clutch pedal with your left foot to ensure power separation.
Shift: Push the gear lever to the forward gear with your right hand and shift the gear lever into first gear.
Observe the environment: Turn on the left turn signal, honk to alert surrounding personnel, and release the handbrake after confirming that there are no obstacles.
Slow start: Control the steering wheel, slowly release the clutch, and turn off the turn signal after the vehicle moves smoothly.
ride control
Speed limit: The speed limit within the factory area is 5 kilometers per hour to avoid sudden acceleration or braking.
Fork height: When driving, the bottom of the fork should be 300-400 millimeters above the ground, and the door frame should be kept tilted backwards to prevent the goods from slipping.
Steering specifications: Reduce speed before turning and prohibit high-speed sharp turns (which can easily cause rollover); Do not turn on slopes or drive across slopes.
View management: The height of the load must not obstruct the driver's line of sight, and if necessary, reverse the vehicle.
Special scenario handling
Passing through narrow areas: honk to indicate, use low gear (1st gear) to slowly pass through.
Driving uphill: Keep the fork low and tilt the door frame backwards; When going downhill, it is strictly prohibited to turn off the engine and slide, and slow down.
3、 Load handling and loading/unloading
load regulation
Fork spacing: Adjust the distance between two forks according to the size of the goods to ensure balanced load and prohibit deviation.
Insertion depth: The fork should be inserted as deeply as possible under the load, and the fork tip should not collide with other goods or objects.
Stable load: The minimum tilt angle of the gantry is used to stabilize the cargo, and the gantry can be slightly tilted forward when unloading the load.
Loading and unloading operations
Parking brake: Tighten the handbrake before loading and unloading to ensure the vehicle is secured.
Slow lifting: Maintain a constant speed when lifting or lowering the fork to avoid shaking the goods.
Prohibited behavior:
Single fork operation or using forks to lift or pull objects is prohibited.
It is prohibited to use forks to lift personnel for high-altitude operations.
Overloading or handling of unsecured or loose goods is prohibited.
4、 Parking and stalling regulations
Parking process
Deceleration braking: Press the clutch and brake, pull up the handbrake to ensure the vehicle comes to a complete stop.
Fork reset: Tilt the fork forward, lower it to the ground position (fork tip touching the ground), and tilt the door frame slightly backward.
Gear adjustment: Shift the reversing lever and gear lever to neutral to prevent accidental operation.
Shutdown and safety
Turn off the engine: Turn the key to turn off the engine and disconnect the power supply.
Key management: Remove the key and carry it with you to prevent unauthorized use.
Low temperature environment: If the temperature is below 0 ℃, it is necessary to drain the cooling water or add antifreeze; When the temperature drops below -15 ℃, remove the battery and move it indoors.
5、 Safety precautions
Personnel protection: It is prohibited to stand or drive with people on the fork.
Environmental observation: Pay attention to obstacles in the air (such as door frames and pipes) while driving to avoid scratches and collisions.
Emergency situation: If the forklift overturns, grip the steering wheel tightly and tilt your body in the opposite direction of the tilt. Do not jump off the vehicle.
Maintenance: Regularly check the electrolyte and seals, replace worn parts in a timely manner, and ensure that the equipment is in good condition.
