The electric hoist in operation requires systematic protective measures and regular inspections to ensure safety. The specific methods are as follows:

1、 Protective measures

Equipment safety protection

No personnel allowed: Electric hoists are specialized equipment for cargo transportation, and lifting personnel is strictly prohibited to prevent falling accidents.

Anti unhooking device: The hook should be equipped with a safety claw or anti unhooking claw to prevent accidental slippage of the lifted object.

Dual braking system: The lifting mechanism should be equipped with a main brake (such as the conical rotor motor's built-in brake) and an auxiliary brake (such as an electromagnetic brake) to ensure reliable braking.

Limit protection:

Upper and lower limiters: prevent the hook from hitting the top or bottom, and prevent the steel wire rope from over winding or equipment damage.

Overload limiter: Real time monitoring of load through spring electrical switch or tension sensor, automatically cuts off power and alarms when overloaded.

Electrical safety:

Low voltage control: The operating voltage of the flashlight door adopts 36V safe voltage to prevent electric shock.

Short circuit and grounding protection: Electrical circuits should be equipped with short-circuit protection devices, and the grounding resistance of the track should be less than 4 Ω.

Environmental adaptability:

Explosion proof type: When using explosion-proof electric hoists in flammable and explosive places, components such as motors and control boxes must comply with explosion-proof standards.

Anti corrosion type: Key components treated with stainless steel material or anti-corrosion coating in humid or corrosive environments.

Operational safety regulations

Special personnel operation: Operated by trained professionals who are familiar with equipment performance and emergency response procedures.

Load control: Overloading is strictly prohibited. The load must be within the rated range and avoid unbalanced or diagonal loading.

Smooth operation: Maintain a constant speed when lifting, lowering, or moving, avoid sudden stops and starts, and reduce impact loads.

Clear line of sight: Ensure unobstructed line of sight during operation. In complex environments, auxiliary observation equipment or additional operators can be equipped.

Do not hover: Do not hang heavy objects in the air for a long time without working to prevent permanent deformation of parts.

Emergency stop: If any abnormalities are found during the homework process (such as abnormal noise, vibration, or brake failure), the emergency stop button should be immediately pressed.

Emergency response measures

Equipment malfunction: Immediately shut down and cut off the power supply, hang warning signs, and prohibit unauthorized maintenance.

Falling objects: Quickly evacuate the dangerous area and set up warning lines to prevent secondary injuries.

Wire rope jumping: Stop the operation and use professional tools to reset. It is strictly prohibited to directly move the wire rope by hand.

2、 Inspection method

Daily inspection (per shift)

Appearance inspection: Check for cracks, deformations, or excessive wear on components such as hooks, wire ropes, and chains.

Electrical inspection: Confirm that the power supply circuit is not exposed or damaged, and that the electrical connections are firm and reliable.

Brake inspection: Test the sensitivity of the brake to ensure reliable braking and that the braking slip meets the standard (S ≤ V/100, V is the speed increase per minute).

Limit check: Manually test the sensitivity of the upper and lower limit limiters to avoid equipment damage caused by malfunction.

Track inspection: Clean up track obstacles to ensure smooth and unobstructed operation.

Regular inspection (weekly/monthly/semi annual)

Weekly inspection:

Check the integrity of limit switches, control buttons, and the operation status of each mechanism.

Test the sensitivity of the overload limiter to ensure timely alarm and power cut-off in case of overload.

Monthly inspection:

Check the reliability of all fasteners to prevent loosening and potential safety hazards.

Lubricate the steel wire rope and pressure plate, check the condition of the tail wedge lock, and ensure that the steel wire rope is securely fixed.

Clean the magnetic starter contacts, eliminate residual slag particles, and check the lubrication condition of the reducer.

Half year inspection:

Measure the insulation resistance of the motor to ground (stator winding ≥ 0.5 megaohms, rotor winding ≥ 0.15 megaohms).

Check the gap between the small wheel and the lower edge of the I-beam, adjust the gasket to ensure smooth operation.

Lubricate the hook assembly and wheel assembly, and check the flexibility of rotation.

Special inspection (after new installation or major repair)

No load test: Conduct several no-load lifting and horizontal movements to check whether the equipment runs smoothly and without any abnormal noise.

Static load test: Lift at 125% of rated load, about 100 millimeters off the ground, hold for 10 minutes, and check for permanent deformation.

Dynamic load test: Repeatedly lift and move left and right at rated load to check the reliability of the transmission mechanism, electrical components, and connection parts.
