1、 Hook inspection
Anti detachment device: Check whether the anti detachment device of the hook is intact and meets the requirements to prevent heavy objects from accidentally falling off during the lifting process.
Surface condition: Observe whether there are fatigue deformation, cracks and other defects on the surface of the hook, which may affect the load-bearing capacity of the hook.
Neck and pivot: Check the wear of the hook neck, pivot, and sleeve to ensure there is no excessive wear or damage.
2、 Chain inspection
Deformation and damage: Check whether the chain is deformed, damaged, or cracked, especially whether the pins at the end of the chain are firmly fixed.
Knots and twists: Ensure that the chain is free from any knots or twists that may cause uneven force during lifting, leading to breakage.
Wear and corrosion: Check the wear and corrosion of the chain to ensure that the wear does not exceed the scrap standard.
3、 Brake device inspection
Brake setting: Check whether the brake setting meets the design requirements and whether the brake type is suitable for the current working environment.
Component condition: Observe whether the brake rod and spring have fatigue deformation, cracks, and other defects, and whether the pin shaft, spindle, brake wheel, and brake friction plate are worn out beyond the standard.
Braking ability: Test the braking ability of the brake to ensure quick and reliable braking in emergency situations.
Hydraulic braking: For hydraulic braking systems, check for oil leakage to ensure that the brake fluid is sufficient and there is no leakage.
4、 Drum inspection
Fatigue cracks and damages: Check for fatigue cracks, damages, and other defects on the drum body and edges, which may affect the load-bearing capacity of the drum.
Wear of rope groove and cylinder wall: Measure the wear of rope groove and cylinder wall to ensure that it does not exceed the scrap standard.
Wheel rim height and winding layers: Check whether the height of the drum rim matches the winding layers of the steel wire rope to prevent the steel wire rope from jumping out of the rope groove.
Rope guide and rope guide: Check the working condition of the rope guide and rope guide to ensure that the steel wire rope can be wound neatly and orderly on the drum.
5、 Pulley inspection
Anti slip groove device: Check if the pulley is equipped with an anti slip groove device to prevent the steel wire rope from jumping out of the groove during lifting.
Rope groove and wheel rim condition: Observe whether there are cracks, broken edges, excessive wear and other defects in the pulley rope groove and wheel rim, which may affect the rotational flexibility of the pulley.
Flexibility of rotation: Manually rotate the pulley and check if it rotates flexibly without any jamming.
6、 Gearbox inspection
Running sound: Start the gearbox, listen for its running sound, and check for abnormal sounds such as severe metal friction, vibration, and shell radiation, which may indicate internal faults in the gearbox.
Oil leakage situation: Check if the gearbox is leaking oil, ensure good sealing, and the oil level is normal.
7、 Inspection of other components
Coupling and Pin Shaft: Check the wear of the coupling, pin shaft, shaft pin hole, and buffer rubber ring to ensure that they do not exceed the scrap standard. The coupling and the two connected components should be concentric to prevent vibration and noise during operation.
Metal structure: Check the metal structure of the crane for overall or local instability, fatigue deformation, cracks, severe corrosion, and other phenomena that may affect the overall stability of the crane.
Safety protection device: Check whether the overload protection device, torque limiter, anemometer and other safety protection devices are sensitive, reliable and meet the design requirements. These devices can promptly issue alarm signals in dangerous situations such as crane overload and excessive wind speed, and automatically cut off the power source for operation to prevent accidents from occurring.
