Emulsion lifting equipment (such as emulsion hoists) is an improved product of hydraulic hoists. By replacing hydraulic oil with emulsion, the safety and stability of the equipment are significantly improved, especially suitable for flammable and explosive environments such as coal mines. The following analysis will be conducted from three aspects: equipment principles, suggestions for setting time parameters, and operating standards:

1、 Equipment principle and improvement background

Hydraulic hoist foundation

Traditional hydraulic hoists use hydraulic oil as a power source to drive the hoist gears in both forward and reverse directions through a hydraulic system, completing the lifting of heavy objects. Its core components include hydraulic motors, main control valves, manual control valves, and suspension systems, which have the characteristics of stepless speed regulation, small size, and light weight.

Improvement of emulsion gourd

Power source replacement: Replace flammable hydraulic oil with non flammable emulsion (water-based medium), significantly reducing the risk of fire and adapting to scenarios with strict explosion-proof requirements such as coal mines.

Structural optimization: adopting modular integrated design, compact structure, easy to move and install underground.

Performance improvement: The hoist is driven by a transmission gear system and equipped with a reversing mechanism to achieve gear forward and reverse rotation, making operation more flexible.

2、 Suggestions for setting time parameters

Start and Run Cycle

Single pump operating time: It is recommended to set it to 24-hour continuous operation, combined with 8-hour shutdown maintenance, to balance equipment life and work efficiency.

Priority switching: Replace the priority pump every 8 hours to avoid uneven wear and tear caused by prolonged high load operation of a single pump.

Intermittent liquid supply mode: The shutdown setting time can be set to 10 minutes (if no liquid is used after this time, the equipment will automatically shut down), and the restart delay is set to 0.5 seconds to ensure quick response.

Hydraulic system time parameters

Variable frequency regulation acceleration and deceleration time: determined through experimental methods, the recommended value is 10 seconds (too short may cause the motor to stall, and too long may affect the efficiency of the action).

Temperature control response time: The allowable deviation is set to ± 3.0 ℃, the outlet temperature is set to 55 ℃, and adjustment is triggered when the actual temperature exceeds the range of 52-58 ℃. The adjustment delay is immediate response.

Liquid supply protection and durability testing time

Abnormal pressure protection time: The overpressure/undervoltage threshold is set to 15MPa/35MPa, and the protection delay is 0 seconds (immediate shutdown).

Durability test time: The full load test time is set to 500 hours, during which the oil temperature and liquid temperature are recorded every 0.5 hours. After stabilization, they are recorded every 1 hour, with the requirement that the oil temperature be ≤ 85 ℃ and the liquid temperature be ≤ 40 ℃.

3、 Operating standards and precautions

Pre startup inspection

Confirm that the equipment is level and stable, avoiding tilting that may cause liquid overflow or air intake.

Check the emulsion ratio concentration (3% -5% for hydraulic supports, 2% -3% for individual hydraulic supports), liquid level (above two-thirds of the tank height), and water quality (pH value 6-9, no impurities).

Confirm that the electrical system (switches, motors, buttons) is installed in a dry and water free location with a gas concentration below 1.5%.

Start operation

Loosen the air release plug of the pump suction chamber and tighten it after the air is exhausted.

Open the manual unloading valve, start the motor, slowly close the unloading valve, and gradually increase the pump pressure to the rated value.

After starting, control the manual unloading valve and increase the pressure by 20 kilograms per minute. After 20-30 minutes, when the pressure increases to 80-100 kilograms, confirm that there is no abnormal sound and the temperature is below 65 ℃ before continuing to work.

operation monitoring

Observe whether the pressure gauge and flow meter display normally, whether the dirt indicator of the filtration station is sensitive, and whether the pressure difference between the inlet and outlet is between 1.5-3.0 megapascals.

Monitor the sound of the device during operation, check whether the joints and seals are tight, and whether the plunger lubrication is good.

Shutdown operation

Normal shutdown: After receiving the pump shutdown signal, first open the manual unloading valve to make the pump run without load, then press the stop button and cut off the power supply.

Emergency shutdown: In case of abnormal noise, odor, temperature exceeding the limit, abnormal pressure, or ruptured liquid supply pipeline, immediately stop the pump and inspect and handle it.
