Immediately stop the machine and cut off the power: Once abnormal noise is detected from the electric hoist, it should be stopped immediately and the power should be cut off to ensure safety.

Check the motor:

Check if the motor is operating in a single phase, if the power supply is disconnected in one phase, or if the motor is disconnected in one phase. If this is the case, the use must be stopped and professional assistance sought.

Check if the three-phase current of the motor is balanced. Unbalanced current may cause abnormal electromagnetic sound. This may be caused by voltage imbalance in the power grid, instantaneous short circuits in customized motor windings, uneven air gaps between stator and rotor, or broken or thin rotor bars.

Check if the bearings are leaking oil or overheating. This may be caused by excessive or insufficient bearing grease, unclean grease, or poor bearing quality. The bearings can be disassembled and cleaned, and the surface of the raceway can be observed. After checking the relevant dimensions, repair can be carried out.

Check if the coupling shaft is upright and not displaced, as well as if there is any cleaning of the bore. These may also cause the motor to produce abnormal sounds.

Check the reducer:

If abnormal noise is emitted from the reducer, it may be due to a lack of lubricating oil in the gearbox or bearings of the reducer, causing wear and damage to the bearings or gears. At this point, the machine should be immediately shut down for inspection and qualified lubricating oil should be added as needed.

If the gears or bearings are severely worn or damaged, they should be replaced in a timely manner to eliminate the fault and reduce noise.

Check the gears:

Gears may experience bending, deformation, and other situations after loading and transmitting power, resulting in high meshing impact and node pulse impact, thereby generating noise. Check for excessive wear or damage to the gears and repair or replace them as needed.

Check the control circuit:

If the control circuit emits abnormal noise, similar to "hum" noise, the contactor should be checked for faults. For faulty contactors, maintenance and troubleshooting should be carried out. If they cannot be repaired, they should be replaced in a timely manner.
