1、 Appearance inspection

Overall structure: Check whether the forklift's overall structure is intact, without cracks, deformation, or severe wear.

Component connection: Confirm whether the connections of various components (such as forks, door frames, chains, hydraulic cylinders, etc.) are firm, without looseness or missing.

Hydraulic system: Check the hydraulic pipelines and joints for damage, looseness, or oil leakage.

Tire: Confirm the wear condition of the tire, check if the tire pressure meets the requirements, and ensure that there are no embedded debris on the surface of the tire.

2、 Functional testing

Control lever and brake:

Test the flexibility of the joystick to ensure smooth operation in all gears.

Check the braking force of the brake to ensure that it is reliable, without any deviation or failure.

The parking brake should be able to park at a specified slope (such as not less than 20%) in an unloaded state.

Lifting and lowering:

Test the lifting and lowering functions of the fork to ensure smooth movement, no jamming or abnormal noise.

Check the performance of the lifting hydraulic cylinder and the tilting hydraulic cylinder to confirm that there are no leaks or abnormalities.

Measure the maximum lifting speed and descent speed to ensure compliance with design requirements.

Steering system:

Check the free travel of the steering wheel or joystick to ensure that the steering is flexible and not stuck.

Test the steering centering performance to ensure automatic centering after turning.

Check the sealing of the steering system and confirm that there is no oil leakage.

3、 Performance verification

Load testing:

Test the various functions of the forklift (such as lifting, lowering, steering, driving, etc.) under standard load conditions to ensure stable performance.

Check the thickness, wear, and height difference of the fork tips to ensure compliance with safety standards.

Test the elongation of the lifting chain of the door frame to confirm that there is no risk of excessive elongation or breakage.

Stability testing:

Conduct stability tests for both empty and full loads to confirm the stability of the forklift under different load conditions.

Test the stability of the stack and lateral stability to ensure that the forklift does not tip over during stacking and lateral movement.

Perform a braking stability test on a slope to confirm that the forklift will not slip or tip over when braking on the slope.

Power performance test (if applicable):

If a manual forklift is equipped with an auxiliary power device (such as electric assist), its power performance, such as acceleration performance, climbing performance, etc., needs to be tested.

Confirm whether the working voltage, current and other parameters of the power unit meet the design requirements.

4、 Safety device inspection

Limit switch: Test the function of the limit switch to ensure that the fork can automatically stop when it reaches the limit position.

Emergency descent device: Check the effectiveness of the emergency descent device to ensure that the fork height can be quickly lowered in emergency situations.

Reverse alarm: Test the function of the reverse alarm to ensure that it can sound an alarm when reversing.
