The operation, maintenance, and upkeep of manual forklifts must strictly follow safety regulations and scientific processes. The specific implementation plan is as follows:
1、 Safety operation standards
Single person operation principle
Only one operator is allowed to control the forklift. When multiple people cooperate, a designated on-site commander must be appointed to coordinate actions through unified gestures or commands.
Prohibited behaviors: Overloading (the weight of goods must not exceed the rated load of the forklift), off load (the deviation of load on both sides of the fork must be ≤ 5%), single fork operation, high-altitude throwing, and manned sliding.
Environmental adaptability requirements
Slope operation: When the slope is greater than 7 °, the goods need to be located on the uphill side; It is prohibited to work on steep slopes (>15 °) or slippery roads. If necessary, the operator should stand on the side of the forklift and use their body weight to counteract inertia.
Sight management: When handling large volume goods that obstruct the line of sight, it is necessary to reverse and drive at low speed (speed ≤ 1km/h), and arrange for a dedicated person to guide.
Speed control standard
Empty/loaded driving speed ≤ 3km/h (60% of adult walking speed), slow down to ≤ 1.5km/h when turning to avoid sudden braking causing cargo overturning.
2、 Daily inspection process
Pre operation checklist
Hydraulic system: Check for oil leakage in the hydraulic cylinder, oil pipes, and joints. Use the operating handle to press 3-5 times without load to confirm that the fork lifting is not stuck.
Walking system: Rotate the wheels to check flexibility and remove foreign objects such as tangled cables and plastic bags; Test the braking performance, and the emergency braking distance under no-load condition should be ≤ 0.5 meters.
Fork status: Measure the thickness of the fork (standard value ≥ 30mm), check the symmetry of the fork arm (deviation ≤ 2mm), and confirm that the fork length is ≥ 20cm of the pallet width.
Key monitoring points during operation
Check the hydraulic oil temperature every 30 minutes (normal range 40-60 ℃), and if the oil temperature is too high, stop the machine for cooling.
Listen for abnormal noise: abnormal noise from hydraulic pump may indicate air mixing and require exhaust treatment; The sound of wheel axle friction may indicate insufficient lubrication and the need to replenish lubricating grease.
Post operation maintenance
Lower the fork to the lowest position (≤ 50mm above the ground) in an unloaded state to avoid long-term compression deformation of the front axle support frame.
Clean the surface stains of the forklift, focusing on cleaning the dust on the fork rack slide, chain and other parts to prevent further wear and tear.
