The common faults of manual forklifts can be classified into four categories: hydraulic system, structural components, operation control, and leakage. The following are specific types of faults and their solutions:

1、 Hydraulic system malfunction

Forks cannot be raised or raised slowly

Reason: Insufficient hydraulic oil, impurities in hydraulic oil, improperly adjusted pressure relief valve, air in hydraulic oil, deformation of cylinder piston rod due to unbalanced load, wear or aging of oil seal repair kit, oil circuit blockage or wear leading to oil return.

resolvent:

Add hydraulic oil to the specified level.

Replace and clean the hydraulic oil, and remove impurities from the oil circuit.

Adjust the tightening screw of the pressure relief valve.

Remove air from the hydraulic oil.

Replace the piston rod or oil cylinder, repair or replace related parts.

Replace the aging or worn oil seal repair kit.

Clean or replace clogged or worn oil components.

Forks cannot descend or descend slowly

Reason: The pressure relief valve is not properly adjusted, the cylinder piston rod is deformed due to unbalanced load, and the parts are damaged or deformed due to unbalanced load.

resolvent:

Adjust the tightening screw of the pressure relief valve.

Replace the piston rod or oil cylinder.

Repair or replace relevant parts.

When there is no pressure release, the fork automatically descends

Reason: Impurities in the hydraulic oil prevent the pressure relief valve from closing, air in the hydraulic oil, worn or damaged seals, and the pressure relief valve is not properly adjusted.

resolvent:

Replace the clean hydraulic oil.

Remove air from the hydraulic oil.

Replace the seal with a new one.

Adjust the tightening screw of the pressure relief valve.

2、 Structural component failure

Arm deformation or breakage

Reason: Excessive force or improper operation during use.

Solution: Perform welding reinforcement treatment.

Wear of the arm pin shaft and shaft hole

Reason: Long term use leads to excessive wear and tear clearance.

Solution: Add lubricating oil to reduce wear and tear, and re weld and create holes after wear and tear.

Steering wheel malfunction

Reason: Bearing damage or wheel axle retaining spring detachment.

Solution: Replace the bearing or reinstall the retaining ring.

Two fork arms are unbalanced

Reason: During use, excessive load may cause deformation or grinding of the pin shaft connecting the square connecting rod and the wheel fork, as well as the pin shaft connecting the wheel fork and the frame.

Solution: Replace with a new pin or adjust the length of the square connecting rod to make the two fork arms horizontal.

Nylon roller and supporting components malfunction

Reason: The elastic pin of the fixed roller shaft is worn and broken, the bearing is worn and scrapped, and the wheel fork is deformed.

resolvent:

Replace with a new elastic pin.

Replace with new bearings.

Use a gas cutting flame to heat both sides of the fork and apply inward force for correction.

3、 Operation control malfunction

Oil drain valve handle malfunction

Reason: Poor connection length and gap adjustment.

Solution: Adjust the connection length and gap, or abandon the handle and use long bolts to push the oil drain valve.

Brake system malfunction

Reason: Unequal clearance between the two brakes, blocked brake pipeline, oil stains in the brake drum, twisted and deformed brake shoes, air in the brake pipeline, failure of the inlet and outlet valves of the brake master cylinder, excessive wear of the brake friction pads, and insufficient contact surface of the friction pads.

resolvent:

Adjust the gap between the two brakes or unclog the pipeline.

Remove oil stains or repair or replace brake shoes.

Remove the air from the brake pipeline.

Adjust the gap between the brake drum and brake shoes.

Inspect and repair the inlet and outlet valves.

Replace or repair the friction plate.

4、 Leakage fault

Hydraulic system leakage

Reason: Worn or damaged seals, cracked or worn parts.

resolvent:

Replace the seal with a new one.

Check and replace with new parts.
