The daily operation and maintenance points of manual forklifts are as follows:

1、 Daily operation standards

Check before use

Hydraulic system: Check for leaks in the hydraulic cylinder to ensure proper lifting function.

Pulley and brake: Check whether the pulley device is flexible, whether the brake is effective, and remove foreign objects from entanglement.

Fork and pallet: The length of the fork should be greater than or equal to the length of the pallet to prevent the goods from tipping over; Overloading (exceeding rated weight), unbalanced loading, or single fork use are strictly prohibited.

Loading and Handling

Goods fixation: Goods should be neatly stacked on pallets, maintaining a stable center of gravity and avoiding loose packaging or unstable goods; Arrange personnel support when necessary.

Operating posture: The forklift must be fully placed under the shelf, slowly lift the goods to a low position, and then transport them. It is strictly prohibited to lift the goods high and travel long distances.

Speed control: Drive at a speed not exceeding 3 kilometers per hour and slow down when turning; Avoid using on muddy, uneven ground or slopes (inclination ≤ 2%).

Safety taboos

No personnel allowed: Do not stand on a forklift, slide, play, or lift for work.

No falling objects from high altitude: It is strictly prohibited to directly drop goods from a height onto a forklift.

Vision and Environment: Maintain clear vision during operation and avoid working when vision is obstructed; Pay attention to the surrounding environment and prevent collision with others or equipment.

Parking and storage

After use, lower the fork to the lowest position and store it in the designated area; Do not place heavy objects when unloaded.

2、 Daily maintenance and upkeep

Cleaning and Inspection

Cleaning dirt: Regularly clean the soil and dirt on the fork frame, door frame slide, generator and other parts.

Tightening components: Check if the fork support, lifting chain tightening screws, wheel screws, etc. are loose and tighten them in a timely manner.

Lubrication and replacement

Lubrication parts: Regularly add lubricating oil to friction parts such as axles, sealing rings, and roller bearings to reduce wear.

Wheel maintenance: Check the wear and tear of the wheels, remove debris and entanglement, replace damaged wheels, and ensure that the wheel axle is locked.

Hydraulic system maintenance

Oil level check: Ensure that the oil level in the working oil tank is between the scale lines. If the oil level is insufficient, replenish it in a timely manner to avoid air mixing into the pipeline.

Leakage inspection: Regularly check for leaks in hydraulic cylinders, pipeline joints, and other parts. If any problems are found, repair them immediately.

Braking and steering system

Brake fluid inspection: Confirm that the brake fluid is within the scale range, eliminate the air in the pipeline, and prevent brake failure.

Steering flexibility: Check whether the steering gear is flexible and reliable, and the wear of the steering knuckle pin and sector arm pin shaft.

3、 Safety emergency response

Cargo dumping: If the cargo or vehicle is dumped, do not attempt to straighten it and immediately evacuate to a safe area.

Equipment failure: If hydraulic cylinder leakage, pulley jamming or other faults are found, immediately stop using and repair, and prohibit operation with defects.

Slope operation: If it is necessary to use on a slope, ensure that the forklift is unloaded and the fork arm is facing downhill, and the operator must not stand directly in front.
