When starting the emulsion lifting equipment, strict control is required from four stages: pre start inspection, start operation, operation monitoring, and shutdown operation. Specific precautions are as follows:
1、 Pre startup inspection
Equipment status check
Confirm that the emulsion pump and emulsion tank are in a horizontal and stable state, avoiding tilting that may cause liquid overflow or air intake.
Check whether the connecting bolts of each component are complete and firm, especially the screws of the pump plunger and inspection cover.
Confirm that the oil level and sealing of the reducer comply with regulations, and that the pipeline joints from the pump station to the working face are securely connected without any leakage.
Check if the suction valve, manual unloading valve, and working face return valve are in the open position, and if the shut-off valve supplying liquid to the working face is in the closed position.
Emulsion inspection
Use a refractometer to check if the emulsion ratio concentration meets the regulations (3% -5% for hydraulic supports and 2% -3% for individual hydraulic supports).
Confirm that the emulsion has no oil, soap, precipitation, discoloration, or odor changes, and the liquid level is above two-thirds of the height of the tank.
Check if the inlet pressure of the mixing water is above 5 × 10 ⁵ Pa, and conduct regular water quality tests to ensure cleanliness and absence of impurities.
Electrical system inspection
Confirm that electrical equipment such as switches, motors, buttons, junction boxes, etc. are installed in dry and safe locations without water spray.
Check the gas concentration in the airflow within 20 meters of the motor and switch location. If it reaches 1.5%, the operation must be stopped and the power must be cut off.
environment check
Ensure that there is no standing water or debris around the pump station, the top plate is stable, the bottom plate is flat, and the maintenance personnel can work conveniently.
Check if the vent covers on the emulsion tank and reducer are unobstructed.
2、 Start operation
Exhaust operation
Loosen the air release plug of the pump suction chamber, and tighten it after the air in the suction chamber is exhausted and the liquid is discharged to prevent damage to the equipment caused by idling.
Start the electric motor
Open the manual unloading valve, start the motor, slowly close the manual unloading valve, and gradually increase the pump pressure to the rated value.
After starting, control the manual unloading valve and increase the pressure by 20 kilograms per minute. After 20-30 minutes, when the pressure increases to 80-100 kilograms, confirm that there is no abnormal sound, the temperature is below 65 ℃, the pump body oil level is not lower than the lower hole, and the liquid level in the tank is not lower than 1/3 of the standard surface before it can continue to work.
Signal confirmation
The signal must be confirmed. Do not drive if the signal is unclear. After receiving the liquid driving signal from the working face, shout "pump on" to the working face and then start the electric motor.
3、 Operation monitoring
Instrument monitoring
Observe whether the pressure gauge, flow meter and other instruments display normally, and whether the pressure gauge indicates accurately.
Check if the dirt indicator of the filtration station is normal and if the pressure difference indicated by the inlet and outlet pressure is between 1.5-3.0 megapascals.
Sound and temperature monitoring
Check if the sound of the monitoring device is normal, without any abnormal vibration or noise.
Check if the machine temperature exceeds the limit (maximum not exceeding 60 ℃), and the emulsion temperature should not exceed 50 ℃.
Sealing and lubrication monitoring
Check if all joints and seals are tight and free of dripping.
Confirm that the plunger is well lubricated and the lubrication pressure of the gearbox is above 2 × 10 ⁵ Pa.
Liquid level monitoring
Observe whether the liquid level in the emulsion tank remains within the specified range, and whether the automatic liquid level switch and low level protection switch are sensitive and reliable.
4、 Shutdown operation
Normal shutdown
When receiving a pump stop signal or when there is no need to supply liquid (such as when the transfer is completed), the manual unloading valve should be opened first to allow the pump to run at no load.
Press the stop button of the pump and turn the control switch handle to the power-off position.
Emergency shutdown
When abnormal sounds, odors, temperatures exceeding regulations, abnormal pressure indicated on the pressure gauge, emulsion concentration or liquid level not meeting regulations, or supply pipeline rupture and detachment are found, the pump should be stopped immediately.
After stopping the pump, it is necessary to open the manual unloading valve, cut off the power, and check and handle the fault.
Post shutdown processing
Clean the dust on the switch, motor, pump body, and emulsion tank.
After reporting the situation to the incoming driver, fill in the operation and handover records.
