To prevent damage to marine electric hoists, comprehensive protection measures need to be taken from multiple aspects such as equipment selection, installation, use, maintenance, and emergency management. The specific measures are as follows:

1、 Equipment selection and adaptability

Anti corrosion design

Material selection: Priority should be given to using corrosion-resistant materials such as 316L stainless steel and aluminum alloy to manufacture key components such as shells, hooks, chains, etc., to avoid rapid corrosion of ordinary carbon steel in marine environments.

Coating protection: Spray anti-corrosion coatings such as epoxy resin and polyurethane on non stainless steel components to form a physical isolation layer and delay salt spray erosion.

Sealed structure: motors and control boxes with protection levels of IP65 or above are used to prevent seawater and moisture from entering the internal circuit; The junction box uses silicone sealing rings to ensure reliable electrical connections.

Environmental adaptability design

Salt spray prevention treatment: Components such as motors and reducers are coated with zinc, nickel, or Dacromet to enhance their resistance to salt spray; The exposed components such as control buttons and limiters are designed to be waterproof.

Weather resistance optimization: The steel wire rope is made of galvanized or stainless steel material and regularly coated with special lubricating grease (such as lithium based grease) to reduce seawater corrosion and wear.

2、 Installation and fixing scheme

Stable installation

Foundation reinforcement: When fixing the ship deck or dock, high-strength bolts or welding methods are used to firmly connect the gourd base to the foundation to prevent equipment displacement caused by vibration.

Anti loosening measures: Apply anti loosening glue or use spring washers on key connection parts (such as bolts and nuts) to avoid loosening caused by ship shaking.

Environmental isolation

Shielding protection: When installing outdoors, build a rain shelter or sunshade to reduce direct erosion of equipment by sunlight and rain.

Drainage design: Ensure smooth drainage in the installation area and avoid soaking the bottom of the equipment with accumulated water.

3、 Usage and operation specifications

Load control

Overloading is strictly prohibited: Select the load according to the rated lifting capacity of the equipment, avoid illegal operations such as diagonal pulling, lifting, pulling, and burying objects, and prevent wire rope breakage or motor overload.

Stable lifting: When lifting, first perform a "jog" test lift to confirm load balance before officially lifting; Maintain a constant speed during operation to avoid impact overload caused by sudden stop and start.

Environmental adaptability operation

Response to adverse weather conditions: Suspend operations during wind speeds ≥ 6, rainy or snowy weather, or heavy waves to prevent equipment shaking from causing safety accidents.

Moisture prevention measures: After operation, wipe the surface of the equipment with a dry cloth, especially the electrical control box, buttons, and other parts, to avoid moisture accumulation.

4、 Maintenance Strategy

routine maintenance

Cleaning and lubrication: After daily work, remove salt and oil stains from the surface of the equipment, and apply anti-corrosion grease to parts such as steel wire ropes and pulleys; Check the wear of the brake friction plate and replace it in a timely manner.

Fastener inspection: Check every week whether the connecting bolts and nuts are loose, especially the key parts of the lifting and operating mechanism.

Regular maintenance

Monthly inspection: Test the sensitivity of the limiter and check if the wire rope end is securely fixed; Monitor the temperature rise of the motor (the temperature during operation should not exceed 40 ℃ of the ambient temperature).

Quarterly maintenance: Disassemble the reducer to clean oil stains and replace lubricating oil; Check the wear of gears and bearings, and replace them if necessary; Perform non-destructive testing on metal structures such as pulley shafts and hooks.

Annual overhaul: Conduct a comprehensive inspection of the electrical system, replace aging cables and contactor contacts; Perform anti-corrosion treatment on the equipment casing (such as repainting).

5、 Emergency management measures

Emergency handling of faults

Load suspension emergency: If the load hovers in mid air due to a malfunction during operation, immediately set up a warning area and prohibit personnel from approaching; Contact professionals to use spare hoists or jacks to assist in transferring the load, repair the fault, and then resume operation.

Emergency response to electrical faults: In case of control failure, motor failure, or other electrical faults, first check whether the fuse is blown and whether the button contacts are oxidized. After troubleshooting, restart the equipment; If unable to repair on its own, immediately shut down and report.

Anti corrosion strengthening measures

Short term shutdown protection: When the equipment is temporarily shut down, wrap the electrical control box with moisture-proof cloth and apply rust proof oil to key parts.

Long term idle disposal: When the equipment is not in use for a long time, it should be disassembled and stored in a dry and ventilated room, and regularly powered on to dissipate moisture.
